Lois's Country Kitchen a great place to eat! The people are wonderful and the pork chops were tender. All the buffet was great. A good place to stop and eat.

We've eaten there a few times. The food was standard diner fare, neither bad nor outstanding. The staff is friendly. Free icecream!

Lois's is a good non-corporate / non-fast food alternative between the mountains and Knoxville near the turnoff for Seiverville (sp?)/Dollywood turnoff. There is a buffet or you can order off the menu. Buffett is hit and miss -- the turkey and most vegies are pretty generic, school cafeteria fare. But the fried chicken was tasty and the soup obviously house-made... More

Me and my husband have been traveling to the Newport area for a couple of years. We gave stopped at Lois's quite a few times. Their breakfast is good and they have really good priced specials. Their buffet is good as well. The staff is always pleasant and helpful.

Food is HOT and fresh and there is something for everyone. The cobblers are just delicious topped with a scoop of ice cream... More

My boyfriend and I got carryout I ever night. His fries weren't fully cooked and my chicken didn't have much flavor, very bland. The lady at the counter was friendly though. Overall, not really impressed with the food.

Happened by this restaurant, said lets try it. OH boy what a surprise we got. We were seated, given menus then I saw and went to look at the buffet--OH what a surprise, they had delicious fall off the bones ribs, I mean they were great along with many other items, salad bar and wonderful pecan pie.

Not sure why Lois's shows $$- $$$ for the price as it is much more economical than that. Burgers are on the menu starting at 6.95. We were here on a Friday night and had the outstanding seafood buffet for 11.99. The buffet had popcorn shrimp, chilled shrimp, whitefish, hush puppies, frog legs and the best catfish we've had for... More
