We ate here several times. The food is Russian in origin. It is owned and operated by a husband and wife that do it all. I can only tell you it is like going home for a meal of wonderful flavors, made with love, and served with a smile. The cabbage rolls, pork and sauerkraut, meat patties and mashed potatoes... More

Unique gem in Newport. The food is great, priced well, and the staff is friendly. I love the Russian salad, deep fried pirochkes and the chocolate/ butterscotch stuffed desserts.

My husband and I went white water rafting with friends and decided to stop here for a late lunch on the way home. Don't let the location fool you, it was worth it! Everything is freshly hand made on site, even the tea. Prices were reasonable. The owners were nice as well. We ordered Pirozhki (half cabbage and half potatoes)... More

This is a very small, informal restaurant run by a Russian couple who had just become American citizens. They were very gracious, charming people. Their Russian food was very well seasoned. The couple does all of the cooking and serving. They are very professional and it was impressive.

The people here couldn't be nicer if they tried! Every one of us in the group ordered something different and every one of us loved every bite! I personally recommend the fried apples. I've never tasted anything so incredible! My dad swears by the chili and butterscotch pie. The kiddos loved the burgers, chicken fingers, hot dogs and fries. I... More

If you have the opportunity to eat at this restaurant do it. The food is fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is cozy. We went because we were curious about the Russian food. My husband had the scalloped potato pie and my son and I had the cabbage rolls. Both dishes were amazing. Ask about the special of the day because... More
