Elevated dining in a classic speakeasy environment. Opened in 1948, Skull’s continues its traction of fine craft cocktails, great food and live jazz as well as Burlesque. Try the prime rib and empanadas. Always a great time!

My friend who has spent much time in Nashville told me to go. I’m so glad I listened! A business colleague and I went on a Tuesday around 7 pm. We had no reservation because there none available (for a few nights straight). The host...seated us at a no-show table so we were lucky because it was packed and it’s not easy to get a reservation. The place itself is something else. I’ll leave details to the others who’ve accurately described it while focusing on the service and food. Our server, Sami , was exceptional! She was very attentive, recommended her menu favorites and was so personable/friendly. I had the lamb-chops and they were excellent! My colleague had the prime rib and felt the same. It is a bit pricey but I’d imagine that’s because of the experience so I can’t complain. There was a jazz duet playing and were great. It is very dim and the tables are candle lit. I wasn’t ready for this but adjusted although I had difficulty seeing my food. Nothing to take away from an awesome experience though!More

Fantastic evening all the way around. Super service, great food, stellar music, and awesome vibe. My prime rib was perfectly prepared. We ordered a second piece of the lemon cake because it was so yummy!

We were fortunate to get a reservation for Sunday brunch. The steak medallions, potatoes and eggs were delicious! The Bloody Mary is a meal to itself and didn’t disappoint. The food, service and live music were amazing! Highly recommend it…

Way overpriced at $20 per person for a show in this tiny bar. Don’t waste your time here in Nashville. So many more options in Nashville, TN

Our visit to Skull’s was fantastic. We arrived at 8:45 pm and stayed until almost 1 am. The food was very good. Perfectly cooked prime rib that you could cut with a fork. Crawfish gnocchi that was outstanding. Good stiff drinks. An awesome burlesque show...after dinner. Thanks to Jasmine at the host station for reserving us an awesome table. Can’t say enough about our server Genevieve. She was attentive but not intrusive and made our dinner extra special. We are already planning our next visit.More

I would like to share the terrible experience we had so others know. We had been told to “try getting a reservation” here and being we had a group of 12 for my wife’s 50th birthday I figured we would be in for a real...experience and great dinner. I am beyond disappointed with how it went. We had an 8:15 reservation and after getting seated it was 30 minutes + before we were even asked what we would like to drink. Nice start to the night…I ordered 3 different bottles of wine, only to have our waitress take another 10-15 minutes before she went and asked a Mgr to get the bottles. Of course one of the three they said was out and blamed Covid…..what? It was Rombauer Chardonnay, available pretty much everywhere. Ok, no biggie just pick another bottle. We did and moved on. I had to ask 3 more times for another bottle of red as the first bottle was out before it made it back to me. Our waitress was more often nowhere to be found and we were pretty much her only table. This was on the 4th of July and after getting done with our apps, my wife slid outside to view the fireworks while we waited for our meals. Go figure, she runs into our waitress outside watching them as well….we finally get our entrees about 2 and a half hours after we got seated and with only about 10 other people remaining in the restaurant. Food was average at best, certainly not a good nor great meal and with everything else that did or didn’t go on depending upon how you want to look at it I can tell you it isn’t worth the hype. I hope others had a better experience.More

My girlfriend I had a wonderful dinner at Skull’s Rainbow Room a couple of weeks ago. The restaurant is located in Printer’s Alley, an older historical part of Nashville. We had reservations for 7 pm, were promptly seated, and we ordered drinks. The atmosphere of...this restaurant is that of a warm comfortable speakeasy. Very unique . The waiter was friendly and helpful. My girlfriend ordered the langoustines with pasta, and I ordered the prime rib medium rare. Both entrees were very delicious, and the portions were generous. Excellent meal. While we were eating, a 3 piece string jazz band provided great music. To sum it up , we highly recommend Skull’s for dinner in Nashville. Great service, excellent food, awesome live entertainment, and a hip, unique atmosphere. We will be back!More

We get back from the Opry late one evening and we’re hungry. We wander down to Printers Alley and randomly walk in the Rainbow Room just looking for a quick bite. We left 2 hours later with big smiles. This place has charm, history, incredible...entertainment, excellent service (I believe Jesse served us), and the best food we ate in Nashville. If I could give it 6 stars I would. You will not be disappointed.More

Absolutely, a must if going to Nashville. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the music and food equally as impressive. All the staff were unbelievably friendly and made you feel more like a friend than a customer. Could not tell if I was in Nashville, New...Orleans or paradise.More

This is one of my favorite spots in Nashville. Everything about this place is awesome. The Printer's Alley location is tough to beat and makes for a great après spot for drinks and debauchery. The food is incredible, and the drinks delectable. More than anything,...this place has one of the coolest vibes I've ever seen, We had the opportunity to enjoy a trumpeter during dinner (at the perfect volume). Other nights include burlesque shows and other types of music. Lastly, the history of this place is remarkable. If you decide to go, look it up beforehand. It will make the indulgence that much more experiential!More

Pound for pound the coolest place in Nashville and possibly all of middle America. Amazing setting, sensational live music, and food that is insanely delicious. The history, atmosphere, and food/drink all add up to a “must-visit” locale. I hit Skulls every time I’m in town.
