We have visited here twice on our trips to Nashville. The staff are about the friendliest you will ever meet. They make you feel like you are their ONLY guest for the evening. This is a house built in the 1800's. The food is a little pricey, but delicious! It's especially good for a special event or occasion. While we... More

Not only was the food and selections top notch, but the service is outstanding. Can't beat the ambience. One of the last remaining old Townhomes in Nashville. Be sure to ask for the tour after diner.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. We were so fortunate to take their advice and reserve for dinner. It was unbelievably beautiful inside and out. It was originally built in the 1840's and has been renovated to it's Victorian Glory!! The menu is outstanding and the food was extraordinary. Our server was so helpful with the menu... More

This is a great place for adults. The food was exceptional, atmosphere delightful, service excellent. It is an expensive restaurant, evening entrees will cost about $30 to $40 dollars, wine $35 and up for a bottle . Be sure and ask for a tour of the restaraunt, we did and it was every interesting. It's nice to know someone has... More

We had an outstanding dinner at the Standard. Some guests had steak, others seafood. The Sea bass was special, but my filet was perfect. As many places in Nashville, they have an I,pressive list of bourbons and whiskeys. It is in an old house, which also has a very relaxing cigar area. Even has a private club upstairs. Highly recommend,... More

The tour provided by a general manager was magnificent and the food was outstanding. We were welcomed by name when we entered. Reservations accepted. The home is beautiful. If you are looking for an upscale memorable evening in Nashville this is a great place. The service could have been better, we had to ask for things more than once.

Four for dinner with a reservation on a Monday night. Food was good, but expensive. They serve prime beef and one of our group had the fillet and pronounced cooked correctly and flavorful. Two had the sea bass and loved it. The atlantic salmon was average. Beautiful old brownstone, as we were given a tour afterward and learned that part... More

We ate at the Standard on a Friday night, and we found the house to be beautiful. The staff from Kevin who greeted us, to Chase, our server, was outstanding. The food was ok. My husbands fillet was perfectly cooked, but not as warm as I would like it. I had just an appetizer of shrimp and grits with tomato... More

Our meal and drinks were interrupted by fruit flies. One person was served wine with bugs floating in her glass. Not worth the cost!

We were treated to a tour of the basement wine cellar with secret panels to hidden rooms after which we enjoyed a wonderful meal. The service was excellent and the old home absolutely beautiful. Very relaxing place for a leisurly delightful meal.
