We love the food here and the service was excellent! Erik Blue Duo performed with wonderful music and the atmosphere was romantic and relaxing.

Although this restaurant has been around for many years, we had never been til a recent mid-week occasion. We took our adult daughter who has special needs with us to dinner. She entered in a small wheelchair but can walk to the table. As soon...as we entered, both hostesses gave us a very friendly greeting and helped us find a place to stow the wheelchair. I was impressed by all the staff's attention to our needs without our asking - not suffocating, but they were noticing little details to assist with. This included the hostesses, waiter and runner. Also, the place is huge and open, so it is naturally an accommodating space for anyone who might have trouble navigating narrow passages. Yet despite its large size, the restaurant presents both a cozy and lively atmosphere, a popular place with plenty of happy patrons on a Wednesday night in 2021. Having live music is a nice bonus. The food was delicious and the waiter was dedicated to the fine art of cuisine.More

Great service and food! Ask for Amanda! We were in and out in less than an hour. Make a reservation to be safe! We went on a Thursday and the live music started around 6:30pm which was great! I would go later in the evening...for live music. The food was great but not a lot for your money. Definitely a little bit more of an upscale restaurant.More

In Short: The Sambuca Nashville GM (Jonathan) treated me with my guests in a condescending and dismissive way by repeatedly throwing cost in my face, throwing the contract at my head and throwing both his 30 years of experience and 6 years with his staff...to try to imply that I was an uneducated, low worth none customer that had no right to a concern of the dinner that was selected paid for. He tried to treat me like I was not valued as a person or customer. And never treated me like a professional hospitality service leader. My wedding was ruined by a bitter Sambuca GM repeatedly insulting and treating me and my guest like our presence at the restaurant was a privilege to us. The issue was not the staff or the food but the General Manager (JB or Johnathan). This person treated me like I was a classless idiot and a burdensome person on the street to him and not a patron that brought 25-30 of my friends and new family to eat. He treated me like I was a liar and then insulted me by repeatedly implying that I didn't have the money or the knowhow of eating at restaurant like Sambuca so I should feel privileged that was able to be in the space the offered and we paid for. On December 30, 2020 I had my wedding rehearsal dinner booked at Sambuca Nashville which was secured 3 months ago. I chose a menu and appetizers only and asked not to add any alcohol or open bar automatically for specific reason. When I arrived I saw that guests were offered a preselected and poured wine that I wasn't aware of, that no guest asked for or ordered themselves and with no ones ID checked. I told the staff this was wrong, asked how this happened and asked they stop serving those drinks and wanted an explanation for the open bar addition and a resolution of the drinks that were handed out. It looked to me like the pre poured wine was added to try to meet or exceed the minimums and/or things were added to the dinner that I never selected or even asked about. The server agreed to stop serving the pre selected wine and suggested I talk to the General Manger to get it my concerns addressed, but what happened next was the GM came out with dismissive attitude and said that I was wrong, that his sales manager never makes mistakes in the 6 years his as worked with her, that my views on restaurant service were ignorant compared to his 30 years of experience, tossing the rolled up contract at me and worst of all that I and my family/friends were done a favor by being allowed to sit in a place that we paid for but sambuca suggested. I repeated tried to move to resolution but he just wanted to argue a point and express how little I knew or deserved. After almost 30-40 minutes past our dinner time start the GM tried to tell me to move on without any solution after being treated like I was eating a meal graciously donated. For my guests I left the restaurant to try to let them enjoy the rest night and when I returned later I could not even eat much of what was left because I felt disrespected.More

Food was ok, scallops were described as jumbo in the menu and they were quite small. Waitress was kind of annoying coming to the table every 5min...

We visited just before the COVID 19 shutdown in July for our house hunting trip. There was a beginner musician / singer duo taking the stage as we ordered drinks and they took requests. We ordered the nicest, most expensive items on the menu and...lingered for desert to enjoy the music. The owner was there on site and spoke with us several times in friendly conversations. Great time, great food equal to any 5 star restaurant at home in Rhode Island!More

Unbelievable how people of color are still stereotyped in a world where human existence should be considered equal. I entered this establishment and placed my order, when the waiter replyed... " You say please when you're speaking to me!". Baffled by his reply, I asked...if he would elaborate. "When talking to me (!) You end your request with please!". 😤😤 My counter... "You're working for me right now, your tips will be based off of your performance, not my vocabulary". I spoke with management in regards to this uncomfortable conversation, and the manager basically said that's the ordinance in which one must speak. I never knew it was a certain type of word play that had to be spoken, in order to be served. I would NEVER spend another dime of MY hard earned money at Sambuca's in this lifetime, nor the next one!! What happen to freedom of speech? As long as no disrespect was displayed, who should be the judge of my wordplay?More

Delicious food & beverages! (I don’t like seafood, & I have a shellfish allergy, so I was hesitant, but the restaurant & our server were very accommodating.) 2 of us had the smoked pork chops, which were very thick, yet tender. The person who had...the Chicken Parmesan loves it, as did the person having steak. (& the MAC & Cheese was delicious!!!) The staff was friendly! The live music sounded great! We sat near the stage, but could still carry on conversations. It was a nice night out after quarantine for months.More

I'm not sure. My husband and I were there only once as we were visiting a son who lives nearby. We were not happy that they seated us in a high table in the bar area. Fortunately we didn't fall off the chairs.
