I have gone to Nashville twice, and both times my mom and I have gone to the Bluebird. The first time it was because a dear friend of ours was performing there in a showcase. The second, I performed. I was lucky enough to get inside the venue, however both times I saw lines longer than I ever thought possible.... More

I have to admit, the food is more of bar food, and a bit pricey. But the atmosphere is nice. Would have loved it to be more like on TV, but it is a nice small little place to enjoy live music.

It's a run down little place, but where several have gotten their start. We saw a small group of song writers for Faith Hill, Tim McGraw and Keith Urban. They were entertaining and it was nice to hear from those where the soul of the music started. Nice staff, mixed drinks are made perfectly!

A experience for me , once in a lifetime. Seeing songwriters who wrote such famous tunes, recorded by famous singers. The stories behind their songs, the experiences they had , how they started in the business , so mesmerizing.

Excellent music venue. They pack a lot of people into this little place but once there and listening to some really great acts you'll see why people come here. A great part of the Nashville music scene and shouldn't be missed. Reservations are a must - pretty difficult to get in otherwise.

I have always wanted to go The Bluebird Cafe. Have seen it in many movies and TV shows. I wanted to catch some music though. The only way to reserve tickets is to be online a week before you want to attend (if you are going on a Tuesday you can reserve the Tuesday of the week before). Only a... More

Like many people, we first heard about the Bluebird Cafe on the TV show, Nashville. But it was a local institution long before the program started airing -- it is 33 years old and has been presenting songwriters nightly for most of those years. It is THE place for promising singers and songwriters, and also a venue for some of... More

Follow the instructions for on line tickets and get as many people in your group to be online at the designated time and hopefully you will be successful ..... I'm anything but a morning person but for this it was well worth getting up at 8am! Our table was on the stage so we had a "bird's eye" view of... More

Wow! First let me thank another reviewer for the info on how the reserved seating works. All seats were sold out in 4 minutes. Okay so we got very lucky and scored two reserved seats at table 8 which is dead center and literally touches the stage. We could shake hands with the singers/songwriters. This was a very personable event... More

We got a taxi up for 5pm to see what the score was as we heard it would be very busy- it was and we were told people had been queuing since 2.30pm for the 6pm show! After having a chat with a security guard, we were advised that the evening show is normally a bit quieter and if we... More
