Having a mild interest in the genre of Country Music, but having a keen interest in both songwriting and performers, when the opportunity arose to go to Nashville, I knew we had to go to the world famous BlueBird Café. My wife, being a Country Music fan told me in no uncertain terms that when we went to Nashville, we... More

Came to Nashville not expecting to get to the Bluebird but managed it twice in one visit! We arrived at 4.30pm on Sunday (first come first served) & were already too far down to make it in for the first show, but by working with other queuees we survived the roasting hot exposure to make it in for the Writers... This was by far the best part of my Nashville trip! We booked our tickets well in advance to ensure we could get in. The place is very small and has become fairly popular, so booking in advance is advised. There is a minimum purchase per table, so be aware of that beforehand. We got lucky and attended a songwriter's... More

I have gone to Nashville twice, and both times my mom and I have gone to the Bluebird. The first time it was because a dear friend of ours was performing there in a showcase. The second, I performed. I was lucky enough to get inside the venue, however both times I saw lines longer than I ever thought possible.... More

I have to admit, the food is more of bar food, and a bit pricey. But the atmosphere is nice. Would have loved it to be more like on TV, but it is a nice small little place to enjoy live music.

It's a run down little place, but where several have gotten their start. We saw a small group of song writers for Faith Hill, Tim McGraw and Keith Urban. They were entertaining and it was nice to hear from those where the soul of the music started. Nice staff, mixed drinks are made perfectly!

A experience for me , once in a lifetime. Seeing songwriters who wrote such famous tunes, recorded by famous singers. The stories behind their songs, the experiences they had , how they started in the business , so mesmerizing.

Excellent music venue. They pack a lot of people into this little place but once there and listening to some really great acts you'll see why people come here. A great part of the Nashville music scene and shouldn't be missed. Reservations are a must - pretty difficult to get in otherwise.

I have always wanted to go The Bluebird Cafe. Have seen it in many movies and TV shows. I wanted to catch some music though. The only way to reserve tickets is to be online a week before you want to attend (if you are going on a Tuesday you can reserve the Tuesday of the week before). Only a... More
