The worst part of my visit here was having to decide between all of the tasty options on the menu! The service was great and the ambiance was very well thought out! Not only would I recommend this place, I will be back myself!

So, post COVID-19 lockdown Luncheon with the family, and it was a real welcome change. This establishment took all the precautions, kept things humorous, and we were feeling at home in no time. Food was very tastey, temperatures were perfect, and timing was just long...enough to allow us to settle into our chairs and relax. Tyler Anne was who attended to us, and she was a fantastic server. Professional, and hilarious! We can't recommend this place enough! OMG Shrimp & Gouda Grits...!!!!! We will be back.More
Excellent, fresh food. Such friendly service. Ordered the corn bread right away and was not disappointed-awesome. Had the pork chop which was perfectly prepared with a corn and lima bean succotash-light and absolutely delicious. Would love to return next time we visit Nashville.
Tucked away in a quiet street is this little gem. As a single diner travelling through I was warmly welcomed and looked after. The menu does benefit a group as you could share and taste a good variety of the 'Southern style with a contemporary...twist meals', but by oneself you can sample from the 'small plates', and they are reasonable 'entree'/tapas size, so 3 dishes and dessert would be more than sufficient for a reasonable meal. Professional, quick service and overall very reasonable pricing.More
We had a great experience with excellent service. I wished the portions were a little bigger for the price, but this a specialty kind of place. With all the options to eat in Nashville, the Farm House is something different.
Pimento cheese beignets were amazing. Short ribs were excellent, and the sides that came with were good (above average). The meatball with spaghetti squash was good and the Brussels sprouts with pork belly were great. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented. Portions were not huge,...but we were plenty full with no room for dessert. Atmosphere was quiet and elegant but friendly and comfortable. Great, knowledgeable service; our server checked on us just enough. Meal with an appetizer and a couple of beverages was about $90 plus tip. We want to go back for the beignets and to try something else.More
We just arrived in Nashville for a conference and we have a couple of days to enjoy before the conference started. After a long day of travel, the concierge at the Omni Hotel where we are staying recommended the Farm House as a place we...are likely going to enjoy good local food. Boy was he right. This place sources their food from the local region Even the alcoholic drinks are all sourced from craft sources nearby. And the food was lovely. My wife loves Grits. So we had to have it and I have to admit...it was great. The winter salad, short ribs and the corn bread were fantastic. Topped off with cocktails and wine and the meal was great. We finished with French Press locally roasted coffee, cheesecake and Blondie dessert and we left fully satisfied. Great food. Great flavour and great service. Our server Renee really enhanced a lovely meal. Highly recommended.More
Visited for brunch and was looking forward to it based on the reviews - but it was disappointing. The restaurant was not that busy, with only about 6 tables full, but service was very bad. Took awhile to order and when I got my food,...including a cup of coffee, wait staff never checked back so I was out of coffee most of the time. when I finally flagged him down for another cup, he brought it without any cream or sugar - and I found out that there are no refills and you pay for each cup when I got the check. I'm fine with that but they should tell you that when you order. The food wasn't very good and I ate less than 1/3 of it but the waiter never asked if everything was ok and I had to flag him down to get the check. I tried the biscuit panzanella but it had a lot of fat/grease from the meat and cheese and mot much flavor, unfortunately. The biscuit bites were bland and I never encountered a jalapeno; the sausage was flavorful but not in every bite. Overall, a disappointing experience and I ended up going elsewhere immediately.More
This place is close to my office so I walked over today. It’s very near the Hyatt Place, the new Drury, the Hampton Inn and the Bridgestone Tower... how was this place not packed for lunch? It’s pleasant, good piped in music mix playing, the...menu offers several tasty choices, moderately priced for downtown, the staff was professional and very nice. There wasn’t anything not to really love about this place. My server made a couple of recommendations and I chose the smoked chicken with mixed greens, and subbed the grits for the fried potatoes. Every bite was SO GOOD. The chicken was perfect, it was a leg quarter for those who like dark meat. The grits are highly recommended and the mixed greens with shaved Parmesan were on point. There are several other options that sounded delicious on the lunch menu - I can’t wait to visit again.More
We have been to the Farm House several times as it is convenient to the Schermerhorn Symphony Hall. During this visit, the food was very good, as in the past. We started with pimento cheese beignets, which were excellent. Our mains were salmon and pork...steak, both of which were very good. The service was generally friendly and prompt. We ordered desert, but had to cancel when it did not come timely. The atmosphere is very casual, Nashville eclectic. Overall, a very good restaurant.More
