When you walk in to this place you immediately know this is going to be good. Just feels like a BBQ place should feel. Only critique would be that I wish the corn bread was more like cake than a pancake. Loaded fries are gooood.

We stopped for lunch and wished we hadn't. The service was good but the food was not. We like BBQ that has enough flavor that you don't need to smother it in sauce but at this place you need a bunch of sauce. We had a combo plate of Beef, Turkey and Pulled pork and there was no "smoke ring"... More

Delicious little lunch stop. Smoked beef, pork and ribs were delicious! Highly recommend for a reasonably priced bbq meal!

Read about this in a Nashville tourist booklet and knowing the Johnny Cash used to eat here we were sold! This was by far the best BBQ we ate all vacation. There pork was amazing and super tender and you add your own sauce to your sandwich which I LOVED! The service was GREAT! Make sure to try the corn... More

After seeing Hendersonville's Center Point Pit Barbecue featured on Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives, I had high hopes for today's meat-filled adventure. To my surprise, there was only one other vehicle in the parking lot when I rolled up at 11:30am. Oh well, more barbecue for me. One of Center Point's specialties is the Fried Green Tomatoes appetizer, which comes topped... More

Was going to order some sandwiches to go and they wanted to charge me .30 each for tomatoes, lettuce and onions for the sandwiches. They are ridiculously over priced. They are not that good. The service is the worst I have ever encountered. Stay away, there are better places to eat.

Made a side trip to eat here while in Nashville...Had pulled pork sandwich w/ vinegar slaw. Pork was a little dry with a hint of smoke. Just an average sandwich. Best part of my meal...Fried Pickles loved them...to me not worth the detour.

Had the chopped pork plate with a side of bbq beans. They were both great and the servings were generous. Nice to have the owner pop by the table and visit. The real treat was the fired green tomatoes with yum yum sauce. Fantastic. The only complaint is that they were so fresh off the grill that I burnt my... More
