The place is old, older than I am and I'm old. But, it has that way back in the 50's charm, even if worn down to the tabletops. The food is carefully home made with a changing menu of meat and side options daily. The...rotisserie chicken is really very good, as is the BLT, the fried fish. The roast beef, not so much if you re there in the later part of the day. Then you don't get slices, more like chips and pieces of beef at the bottom of the pan. The pecan pie is traditional and wonderful. The servings are modest in size, like we should be eating. The variety of meats, sandwiches and sides is large so there is something for everyone and for every taste. The people there are friendly and considering the menu options and prices you can see why it is a favorite stop for folks on their way home from work or just out for some home style cooking.More
