We visited the Loveless based upon reviews we read here on Trip Advisor--the reviews were right! This was a charming southern restaurant with wonderful smoked pork chops, country ham and biscuits. The service was very friendly, and the fountain drinks and ice tea were ENORMOUS! Reasonably priced--I was completely delighted.

My wife and I ate here a couple of nights ago and it was amazing. The fried chicken is really good, and of course, those biscuits! The biscuits are endless if you want more, and the sides are always good as well. The thing that really impressed me though, was the service. From the Hostess to the two servers who... More

From the country ham smoked right there to the awesome jams served with piping hot biscuits, you will enjoy the meal! That is if you can make it past the soothing smells of the pit BBQ cooking away in the parking lot. I could have spent my afternoon there! Yum!

Yes, they are to die for but so is the rest of the food at Loveless. We. Loved. Everything!!! The warm biscuits with jams was just a tease. Then came the fried chicken, meatloaf and ham. So yummy but there was no way we could eat it all. The portions were HUGE. And everything was delicious including the sides. The... More

Great family restaurant with good old fashion home cooking. The biscuits are delicious and worth the wait. While waiting for a table, we played a nice game of corn hole out in the parking lot area. The restaurant provides the corn hole games.

From the moment you pull off the road and turn into the Loveless Cafe located about 20 minutes south of Nashville, the faded neon sign sets the stage for and old school breakfast experience. We went early on a Monday and took the first available table which was out on a careened in patio, but otherwise it seemed you should... More

This place is a gem! Went there on a Saturday evening. From the reviews I expected to wait up to 2 hours to get a table. We were at our table in 40 minutes exactly what the hostess said it would take. This place has several shops and interesting places to explore while you are waiting. Then when you eat,... More

We enjoyed our first evening meal while visiting Nashville at Loveless Cafe. The drive for us on highway 100 was lovely. The Loveless had a wait but not long and lots to do on the grounds. The wait staff was very friendly , our waitress sat right down and talked to us before we ordered. She recommended their most popular... More

A must go for your trip to the Nashville area. Easy drive from Nashville and close to the Belle Meade Plantation. We went two days in a row!! Excellent biscuits, sausage gravy, homemade jams, fried chicken, and ham with red eyed gravy. All was delicious. Sorry we did not get a chance to try their banana pudding. The wait was... More

This is a traditional Nashville must-do. It is traditional Southern food - meat and three, and hearty breakfast offerings. That said, I still don't get the hype. The biscuits that they are so proud of are not nearly as good as those at your local Cracker Barrel Restaurant. The same can be said of their pancakes. This is not the... More

Description
The Loveless Motel and Cafe first started serving its famous fried chicken and biscuits in 1951. A favorite spot to grab a good ole country breakfast for locals and tourists alike, today the Loveless Cafe serves more than 400,000 guests a year and makes between 4,000 to 7,000 biscuits a day, using founder Annie Loveless' original secret recipe. The Food Network awarded the Southern eatery with its best biscuits award in 2010.
