We have dined at La Terraza for 15 years. Tonight we arrived in a busy but not slammed restaurant. We placed our order but nothing had been delivered to the table after 25 minutes. Our sever promised our food would be out shortly. After 45...minutes my order was served; it was ICE cold. Service has always been iffy but tonight was a disaster. I think management has changed (for the worse). We left.More

Found out about this place recently and decided to check it out. It was wonderfully authentic with wonderful old world furniture - very comfortable chairs! The queso dip and chips were incredible as was the very-fresh salsa. Interesting menu too. We both tried something we...haven't had before and the food was delicious. The margarita did not skimp on tequila either. Plus the service was very attentive. We paid about $40 for drinks, appy and meal for two. This place just jumped to the front of the line for local Mexican restaurants. Can't wait to go back again.More

I love Mexican food and while on this side of town, spending the day with my baby sister, we visited this quaint restaurant. We ordered to go, but got a chance to chat with the hostess and observed the customer service. The food was very...tasty and good portions to boot. I hate the chimichanga with grilled chicken and my sister had the burrito with steak. Both were excellentè. I live across town but I will eat her again when given the opportunity. Delicioso!!!'More

These were the first and best authentic tacos we have ever had. The beef, el pastor(pork) and the chicken which is our personal favorite. While they come with an avocado slice, we also order them as a side as well.

We were staying at a hotel nearby as we had an early morning flight the next day, we asked the hotel what they recommend. The lady at the hotel front desk mention LaTerraza as she used to work there, she even said, talk with the...manager and mention her name. So we did, we thought the manager might give us a free drink as it was the day before Cinco De Mayo and they had specials going for $3, but no free drinks, no free nothing. The meal we ordered was descent, nothing outstanding, the frozen margaritas were pretty good and for $3, couldn't bet the price. Prices are pretty reasonable, dinner with the drinks was less then $50 and that was with an over 20% tip. The reviews are all over on this place, some love it, some hate it. Us? Well, like our rating says, it was average and we had no complaints.More

We had a very good experience. The chips were great. The service was prompt and friendly. The design of the place inside is better than most Mexican restaurants. The food and drink were very good. The only down side was the dessert sopapilla...it was a...fried tortilla with ice cream. Tasty, but I don't consider a fried flour tortilla a sopapilla. That aside, I'll be back.More

Was staying in town and was wanting Mexican food and this was the best reviews closest to where we was staying. The food was good and the margaritas were a bit stout. Will definitely eat here again when in town.

Some friends and I went here for dinner as we had on several occaisiions. We ordered Margaritas as always and were disappointed to say the least that there was little more than margarita mix and ice in the glass. We asked the waitress and she...took the drink back to the bartender, but when she returned it was the same. THEN, the food arrives. A couple of us ordered the Chilli Relenos and they were frozen. You could taste the freezer burn. While eating, we noticed some people at the bar drinking from these cute little Terra Cotta cups. They were off duty employees and I dont imagine there was a problem with their drinks seeing as how the Tequila bottle was sitting right in front of them on the bar. We asked the waitress if the cups were for sale and how much they were. She told us $5.99. We asked for one and she even said it came with a drink as well. She brought the drink and the cup. When we asked for the check, the manager came to our table and informed us that we could not have the cup and that the waitress had been mistaken. After some debate, he removed the price of the drink from the bill, but not the food. I hae since written to the restaurant webpage and someone from the restaurant emailed me to dispute every claim I had. I was floored! He said the drinks were not watered down and they do not use frozen food. He also went on to say that the little cups were imported from Mexico and he could not replace them. The email was sent from his Iphone and read like something a five year old would write. Bottom line, while the customer is not always right, the last thing you should do is argue with them. Between this and the horrible onsite experience, We all decided we will never go there again. They have lost regular customers because of this. This restaurant has gone way down in the past couple of months. Taco Bell would be better!More

I wish I could give this a ZERO. The waitress just rung me up for a $500 charge instead of a $50 charge. She waited 20 minutes to tell us, didn't void the charge immediately, and refused to tell the manager. When we finally spoke...to the manager, he didn't even comp the meal and didn't seem concerned about this issue. We eat her once weekly and this is how they treat their regular customers. HORRIBLE!!!! Don't eat here unless you want to be charge $500 for no reason and then not have anyone care. This is the Nolensville Road location. The manager was completely rude and didn't even care.More
