We stopped in for lunch on a friend's recommendation. Not a large crowd but friendly service. The jambalaya was very tasty and the Cajun sandwiches were top notch. I liked the lack of pretension and casual atmosphere. On the downside I never got my corn bread and things were a little messy. We will be back and we would recommend... More

Wonderful authentic Cajun food and very casual atmosphere. Be sure to tell Mr. and Mrs. Breaux how much you enjoyed your meal; you'll find them in the kitchen, which is open to the eating area.

Featured on Food Network, Bro's Cajun Cuisine is the best Cajun food in Nashville. Today I enjoyed the gumbo- tasty sausage, tender chicken, a variety of vegetables in a rich roux, served with fluffy rice. A little bit spicy and a lot wonderful. My husband had red beans and rich with spicy Cajun sausage. There was plenty of it to... More

We were somewhat prepared for the experience, after reading many reviews. Small place with...ahem...character. We ordered a couple samplers and the kids all found something they liked. Crawfish were nice and big. Price was fair. Location was convenient as we had just visited the Parthenon. Overall, not outstanding imho but a welcome break from the good but ubiquitous barbecue joints

Hard to find but look for small boat out front!! Nothing fancy but quick, good service and very friendly!!! Our soft shell crab and shrimp po'boys were excellent. The owner sat down and visited with us for quite awhile. Really enjoyed this place!!!!

Went there today because my husband loves this place. I thought the food was really good but the service was terrible. The cook had a bad attitude even with some of the costumers. But if you are looking for good food they have it.

My son saw Bro's featured on DDD a few years back and we visited for the first time while touring Belmont University, where he is now a junior. It's become a MUST stop on every trip we make back to Nashville and that's a couple of times a year. Careful or you'll drive right past it! GREAT place, food and... More

This food is delicious. This is the only red beans and rice I've in Nashville that actually tastes like it does in Louisiana. My husband got a stuffed pork chop, and it was also good. We got the boudin balls for an appetizer, and if you go, you should too. I know a lot of stuck-up types will complain about... More

I saw Bro's on DDD and was determined to try it when I went to Nashville. The owner is a transplant from New Orleans and was there sitting down and talking to regulars, which was cool. I had gumbo, which was awesome. The homemade Andouille sausage was very good. I had the crawfish poor boy and some of my wife's... More
