Much better the second time - Better service and better pancakes than our visit July , 2018. It’s a hugely popular place with good reason but I’d still like my food to arrive HOTTER ! Oddly , they were out of half and half creamer....I’m not a huge fan of their coffee , but we enjoyed our visit allege same.More

My wife and I visited Pancake Pantry for lunch last week, after visiting the Belmont Mansion, and were thoroughly pleased. This is definitely going on our 'return' list. This is a great sole-proprietorship restaurant and it's easy to see the pride and quality everyone who...works there puts into what they're serving. This is not an IHOP experience. Pancakes are phenomenal as are the waffles. Batters produce light, if you can believe this, pancakes and waffles with great flavor. Service was excellent. Food quality and ambiance also excellent. This is worth the wait. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for breakfast offerings any time of the day. We'll definitely be returning when our kids are back in town.More

This Man Vs Food family looked up the different restaurants visited by the show so breakfast was at hand at the Pancake Pantry. When you park in the back you'll have a pay toll but if you're there to eat, press one and you'll get...a ticket, place it on the dashboard and you won't have to pay. As you enter, you'll be taken to table yet remember Rona restrictions. The menu has both breakfast and lunch options for everyone. When in Rome do as the Romans do so pancakes was the order for the day. We had Banana, strawberry and the young eating machine Bear pancakes. My one year old zombie enjoyed bacon and eggs. Look they were ok Nothing out of this world and the portions were meeeh. For $30 bucks more is expected especially for pancakes mix. The young man helping us was a polite and helpful.More

Wow! This was amazing!!! We shared Grill Cooks Medley - one of their best sellers! Mounds of hash browns with ham, onions, green peppers, tomatoes, all grilled up crisp. On top of that: melted American and Swiss cheeses with your choice of eggs on top....We got eggs scrambled with Wheat Toast and two buttermilk pancakes. Have to get this. We will be back next time in Nashville. Syrups mixed together were great. Loved the Cinnamon Syrup. Wife even put a little bit in her coffee. FYI...we got there around 7:15-7:30am on Sunday and walked right in.More

It was recommended to us and it was a good recommendation. Had to wait in line on Sunday morning a bit too long.

On our recent trip to Nashville, my wife and I ate here in a Saturday morning...the line was already formed and sorta long and we stood only about 15 minutes and were seated. The menu has so many options and pancake flavors and waffles too;...just a breakfast heaven...Omelets and other breakfast items to many to mention. My wife had the Small Appetite Plate w/1 Egg, Silver Dollar Pancakes and bacon, and I had the Grill Cooks Medley; which was hash-browns, ham, onions, green peppers, tomatoes and cheese, with an egg on top! It also had three pancakes...our meals were amazing and this place has been open since 1961! Fresh syrups (cinnamon) was served and regular. Just southern down home style goodness offered here. I Highly recommend and will definitely make this a breakfast choice when we are in Nashville or the area again- amazing service from the line to being seated and served.....More

When I arrived for breakfast, there was a line. But I only had to wait for several minutes before I was seated. Tables were socially distanced. I got a short stack of sweet-potato pancakes. They were tasty and reasonably priced. Good service.

They offer so many types of pancakes, that it's hard to choose. I tried the Georgia Peach pancakes on the first visit and the sweet potato pancakes on the second go-round.

Although the Covid-19 signs are "displayed", the safety standards are not enforced. We had people within six feet of us at tables on two sides of us. People were moving about the dining area without masks. As guests passed our table, since the chairs next...to us were so close, the people were touching our table with their clothing, purses, etc. Food was ok but definitely over priced.More

We got sooo lucky. One last table. One downfall this place is very popular and is crowded. It is not spaced out. So if that is concern you should avoid it. Also if you dont want to wait get there early!!. The food is GREAT...Service...was very good. Only downfall besides being close to everyone is the price. it seem a little high for breakfast food...but the food was very good.More

good morning cici. i would recommend leaning towards eggs and potatoes to avoid the gluten but many restaurants can make adjustments if you ask your server.
