The Melting Pot Restaurant is where fun is cooked up fondue style. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, anniversary, long overdue date night or celebrating with a group. We are the premier fondue restaurant, centrally located on Westheimer, providing a casually elegant dining experience and an intimate atmosphere. The relaxing four-course experience begins with a cheese fondue prepared table side and fresh salads while your entrée pot heats up. You'll simmer a variety of meats, seafood and vegetables in the cooking style of your choice. Each morsel is hot, fresh and delicious and all entrées are accompanied by an array of dipping sauces. Chocolate fondue is the finale, served with decadent dippers. Most make reservations for the four-course dining experience but more than a few have stopped by to satisfy that cheese fondue or chocolate craving. The Melting Pot also features a great wine list, specialty cocktails and martinis.

Once in a Lifetime Experience!

Loved the decor of this place...it is underground and not overly done. Quaint, romantic, and cool concept. If you are very hungry....I suggest another place. We had a drink at the bar first. The service was great at both the bar and dinner. Ordered the anniversary package and received framed photo... read more

We love the Melting Pot and they closed the one we had at home so this was something we were really looking forward to. We were not disappointed! Michael was a great waiter and very attentive! The food was delicious, the champagne was excellent, and ying yang martinis are always a treat! We can't wait to visit again. B&B

Our daughter requested the Melting Pot for her 18th birthday, so that's where her dad and I took her! From the moment we walked in until we left the evening was awesome. Before our arrival the table had rose petals sprinkled on it and a single rose was waiting for our daughter. Our server was informative, attentive, and involved in... More

We had dinner at The Melting Pot In December, 2015, just before the holidays. My husband and I took our son and his wife out to celebrate the holidays because we were not going to be together on Christmas. It was such a wonderful time. We went with the four course meal and everyone was so extremely happy with everything... More

My wife and I decided to try The Melting Pot for our anniversary based on it's reputation as a romantic restaurant. We paid extra for the anniversary package with the rose petals on the table and framed picture. We were very disappointed with our table. It was nicely decorated but our experience was not romantic at all. We were seated... More

Cook your own average quality food at expensive prices. Nothing special. Only positive is the environment is pretty good.

Ben, Thank you for dining with us. It is undeniable that a low rating is painful. We are passionate about presenting exceptional food, in an immaculate intimate environment with exceptional service. We always hope the rich conversations and the leisurely time spent with family and friends around our steaming pots brings you closer to family and friends. It may be... More

"Bad" things first: if you are an European tourist, do not expect a European fondue. Me and my wife went there expecting the American version of a fondue, and we were fully satisfied. Our waiter was PERFECT, the environment was elegant. We enjoyed everything they brought to us. Doing the whole experience is expensive, but the money, maybe for a... More
