We go to the Tin Angel restaurant fairly often, most lately in August of 2016. We are never disappointed. From the cocktails, which always contain a generous level of the key ingredient, throughout the dinner, every aspect of the experience is always just right. Our favorite appetizers are the fried green tomatoes, which are as good as you will find... More

We picked this restaurant because it's walking distance from campus (about 15 minutes). Food was tasty, including "Everybody's Favorite Chicken." Menu has some Southern favs, including fried green tomatoes. On the upside, service was good. Downside, the room was pretty dark and also noisy, making it hard to hear the person across the table. We would recommend for dinner before... More

We went to the Tin Angel upon a suggestion from our B&B hosts. It was Fabulous! My wife had the filet with spinach and roasted potatoes, I had the shrimp and crab risotto. Both were superb! And don't forget dessert! The lemon cheesecake and chocolate Carmel cake... To die for! We will be back!

Some locals may like this place, sure. But for all the exciting, creative, delicious places to eat in this town, this place is expensive and over rated. If you want pricey American, try the nicer atmosphere and food at Brick Oven just down the road.

We ate here last year..When we planned to be in Nashville for our second time, we made reservations in advance of our visit to ensure that we could eat at this awesome restaurant. It did not disappoint. We had the figs for an appetizer, shellfish risotto and a filet. The food was AMAZING. The service was great. Julie was beyond... More

Enjoyed a late (8:00) dinner while traveling. The menu is a collection of fish, beef, pork and chicken dishes. We had the buttery mussels for an appetizer. They were very tasty. For dinner we shared the cedar planked salmon and Everybody loves chicken dish. Both were delicious. For dessert we shared a creme brûlée. We will try other items on our next... More

Tin Angel doesn't have the broadest menu but what they offer they do really well. I enjoyed the shrimp and lobster risotto and my wife equally enjoyed the filet mignon served over fingerling potatoes. The server was generous with his time and he never seemed hurried with our questions about the menu or about the restaurant in general. The setting... More

First time at this place. Sampled three dishes: warm goat cheese salad: A+, Black and Bleu Salad, A and Everybody's "new" favorite chicken, another A+. Only reason black and Bleu didn't get my A+ was it wasn't quite as creative as the other two! Guess I like variety. It was all delicious. Wait staff was great, interior warm and inviting.... More

Service was great, nice "homey" atmosphere. I had the pork chop - it was great At first glance I did not think the wine list was that great but there was a bottle of Sequoia Grove at a reasonable price. Near Vanderbilt, but a quick uber ride to the bars!

My husband and I love to bring out of town visitors to this classy restaurant where we can always count on excellent service and tasty food. Keith, the bartender, has been there for years and knows how to please. During the winter you are greeted with a warm fire in the round fireplace. It's a popular local eatery with the... More
