I have been frequenting this restaurant for the last 7 -8 yrs when in town on business. Two musts are shrimp and grits and roasted pork tenderloin. Never a disappointment, the staff are amazing as well.

Our concierge recommended this restaurant conveniently located next to our hotel. David our experienced server suggested an outstanding Sauvignon blanc from NZ ( Craig's Range) to go with our ahi tuna and trio of veal dishes we started with lemon artichoke soup and organic Green's salad. We finished this excellent meal with coconut cake. Overall this was an outstanding dining... More

We had breakfast across from our hotel. Service was great, food was great. The bagels were fresh and served with out breakfast.

My wife had dinner here on a Monday night in October. The restaurant is located southwest of downtown, about 1.5 miles from the riverfront. They have valet parking. We had dinner at 6 PM and by the time we left at 7 PM there were less than 10 people in the restaurant. It was early and on a Monday, I... More

We were looking forward to a nice dinner on Friday night, away from Broadway. The service was great. We were early for our reservation and they went ahead and sat us. Our server was friendly and experienced. The options on the menu looked great. The food was ok. Out of all the meals we had all weekend this was my... More

This wonderful restaurant has delicious, "knowable" food but with a unique flair for innovative flavors and concepts. Great service - SO IMPORTANT and yet rare - and buzzing atmosphere. It is modest in appearance, but do not be fooled. The chef is vigorous and the food, exciting. GO!

This is a quaint restaurant. Our server, I believe her name was 'Seana', was very attentive and customer focused. Although I ordered an 8 ounce filet, I received a 5 ounce filet. They recognized the mix-up and delivered the 8-ounce filet as originally ordered, but they insisted I only pay for the 5-ounce filet! The food was very good.

I went on the recommendation of locals. The staff is friendly and well informed. I had the watermelon chilled gazpacho soup, Coca-cola BBQ short ribs and the homage hazelnut mascarpone gelato. A culinary amazement of flavors! The soup was similar to ice box cucumbers with watermelon...absolutely delicious and refreshing!! The short ribs with asparagus was so tender the meat was... More

I went to Midtown Cafe with my wife during Nashville restaurant week. The restaurant is right off West End ave in heart of midtown Nashville. Doug our server was excellent - friendly and very informative. The food was good. The desserts are excellent. The restaurant is small so make reservations. We will definitely be back. Lunch and dinner is served.

We visited (first time--and we WILL go back!!) during Restaurant Week (Aug. 2016) and were really impressed with the excellent service (I think his name was Doug) and the delicious food! Appetizers: I had a salad and it was fine....but my husband picked the winner: shrimp and grits. WOW. Not only did they add bacon, but also mushrooms. This was... More
