Most people would drive right past this place without giving it a second glance thinking it was just an old hole in the wall... Driving by is a HUGE mistake! These are the BEST BURGERS IN NASHVILLE!! There is a reason they have been around for over 50 years. Everything is incredibly fresh and the homemade potato chips are amazing!... More

Got their signature burger with traditional topping and added Stilton bacon. Personally it had too much mustard and it doesn't come with other condiments on it so I should have requested to hold the mustard. Over all good burger but im surprised its generally rated as top 5 for Nashville. For some reason everything are on small plates which was... More

Trust the locals! Place does not look like much but the food was great! I enjoyed meatloaf, mashed potatoes, buttered spinach and IBC Rootbeer. Great variety on the menu, from sandwiches to meat and three.

I had trouble finding the local charm of this place. My BBQ was nondescript, and my wife's hamburger, supposedly a house specialty, was nothing to write home about.

Rotiers makes a good burger, but their chef salad with home made bleu cheese dressing is fantastic. I would put their dressing up against any restaurant, anywhere. Saturday morning breakfast is also excellent....grits, bacon, eggs...perfect every time. Other recommendations are the hot water cornbread with white beans on Friday and the pan fried chicken on Wednesday, chicken gizzards, squash casserole... More

I've been going to Rotier's for years. Started when I was a student at Vandy and try to go every time we are in town. It is worth waiting if there is a crowd and I've never run into a menu item that was not anything but excellent.

Wife and I came here for a nice Saturday lunch. Walking in, this place is straight dive city, but I enjoy that type of thing. Took a corner booth and ordered a pimento cheese burger on the French Bread, Fantastic! Onion rings were crisp, and cooked to were the onion wouldn't slide out of the breading. Wife ordered the Grilled... More

Loved the burgers, the famous bun it comes on and the local bacon! The sweet potato fries were amazing as well!

My wife and I have been eating here for almost 20 yrs. Cheeseburger on French bread. Awesome. Really good fries, rings and milkshakes too. And one of the nicest touches: they serve Coca-Cola in glass bottles.
