Enjoy the fried green tomatoes, enjoy the complimentary salad, ponder the various specials and delight in pork belly with plum, a joy. as well as modern tweaks to classics like meat loaf. Great service and attention to detail. Only critique do we have to keep the same knives for starters, salads and mains?

Took a break from the heat of the city and enjoyed a well prepared and well presented lunch at this bright little café. I recommend it highly if you are in that area of town.

We came here for brunch and ordered the half pitcher of mimosas, so yummy and full of champagne! The food is always amazing and always a treat when I get to go here.

The mimosas are amazing. They are a must have! However, it is cheaper to order individual glasses than a liter of mimosas. The bread/donuts they serve are fantastic.

Dinner seating starts at 5, not a minute earlier. If you get there early, enjoy happy hour at the bar with some decent prices. We came to Nashville during Restaurant Week by chance and were pleasantly surprised. After combing through many different options to have dinner before a Tuesday show at Grand Ole Opry we decided to go here, We... More

My husband and I had dinner here on a Tuesday night! Great atmosphere, excellent drink menu, and great food. The staff was attentive from the moment we walked in and out server was amazing!! She was knowledgeable about the menu, offered suggestions, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious and did not break the bank!... More

My experience at Germantown Cafe has always been topnotch. However, I have spent the last couple of years trying out many of the new Nashville restaurants. I have been disappointed in many of the them. So.....I made reservations for a Friday night dinner back at an old favorite.....The Germantown Cafe. Thank goodness! My date and I were delighted with the... More

The food here is always first rate. I had the Asian Chicken Salad and my wife enjoyed the Tomato Basil Salad. Fresh, fresh, fresh! The dressings are especially good. Service was excellent. The only criticism is the noise level. All hard surfaces with nothing to absorb sound.

Visited the Germantown Café with friends for Sunday brunch. The layout of the restaurant is nice as it gives tables quite a bit of privacy for conversation. Brunch menu was full of variety. My friends raved about the steak benedict and crab cakes benedict. If you are from the South you will probably enjoy the grits - I'm told they... More

Chose this restaurant for early dinner before going to kd lang concert at Ryman. Nice atmosphere, off the beaten path but still close to downtown Nashville. Food was fresh and delicious. Waiter was so-so, had a little bit of an attitude. Some Great cocktails and dinner specials. Dinner rolls were some of the best ever!! So light and fluffy, I... More
