We tried an array of foods here and every bite was wonderful! You can't go wrong. Food with flavors like this is hard to find.

The food was fantastic and portions were larger than most gourmet restaurants. Nice wine list. Service was attentive but not rushed.

At first I was skeptical because when I looked at the menu there were just so many different flavors in every dish. Even the bread (extra charge) came with two butter flavors. But everything worked. I didn’t have reservations and even at 5pm they wouldn’t...seat me at the chef’s counter because of upcoming reservations. But the bar was great. I started with the Brussels sprouts and had the vegetarian entree which was delicious. It is definitely not light with all the cheese but it tasted great. Wines by the glass are affordable and service was fantastic.More

I sat alone at the bar in front of the kitchen. The waitress was amiable and knowledgeable. I ordered everything the waitress recommended. I ate the grilled cauliflower and one of the best tender pork chops I have ever tasted. I also had a signature...dessert that was also delicious. This restaurant was a culinary experience. I highly recommend it if you are in Nashville.More

We ate at Etch twice and sat at the bar. They have the full menu there and no reservations. John and Jamie were both awesome. The food was delightful, tasty and quick. It had great vibe and atmosphere. Totally recommend this place.

We came down from the Omni hotel at around 8 pm onTuesday night and were told there was no seating or reservations available. We asked about the open seats overlooking the kitchen and were told they were reserved. The host did not smile and was...very short with us. So I went online and made a reservation for just 15 minutes after we were told we couldn’t be seated. I then presented the front host with the newly made reservation and walked out. It was my birthday and we were staying at one of the executive suites of the Omni. We were definitely underdressed, but I expected better treatment. We walked down to Ella’s on 2nd and had a totally different experience. 5 stars to Ella and an apology from them for how we were treated at Etch!More

Along with a place like Bastion, this is a can't miss restaurant in Nashville. The service, food, and ambiance are all top notch. Appetizer not to miss? Roasted Cauliflower - honestly so much better than it should be! Can't wait to go back.

Our meal at Etch was one of the highlights of our visit to Nashville on the last evening of our stay. Its location is convenient to anyone staying in the downtown area, and was within easy walking distance for us. Kevin our server was superb....The meal was one of the best we have had in quite some time. We have developed a habit of sharing and comparing different restaurant offerings of Mussels. The uniquely flavored Mussels at Etch immediately caught our attention. While the portion was smaller than anticipated, their unusual and delicious taste began a meal in which every plate contained a symphony of complex flavors, each of which could be identified individually, blending together perfectly, and without being overwhelming. The Golden Beet salad we split was similarly wonderful. As a fan of Moroccan food I was compelled to have the Moroccan Bastilla. It was again masterfully created. My companion (a woman who knows her venison) had the Venison, which she confidently stated was perhaps the best she had ever enjoyed. Judging by the generous size of the portion I fully anticipated enjoying more than the initial taste I was permitted. Alas, she consumed the entire portion! (She almost never cleans the entire plate.) We do not usually have dessert (or on occasion share one), but were unable to resist having both the Olive Oil Almond Cake and the Hazelnut Black Forest. BOTH SO UNIQUE AND YUMMY! Despite the number of courses we consumed (more than our usual), we were comfortably sated without any sense of being overwhelmed. The walk back to our hotel was accompanied by wide grins on our faces. I could rave on and on, but will simply say that this is a gem!More

An exceptional dining experience. Amazing food , fabulous wine and whiskey and fabulous staff. My best meal and restaurant so far this year hats off to all concerned. EXCELLENT !!!!!!! Although we had booked a table on arrival i asked if we could sit in...front of the kitchen and watch the magicians at work. We were promptly relocated and right in centre spot. The service was an absolute delight , warm and friendly and perfectly pitched , im not one for pomp and circumstance so down to earth service with pride is gratefully received. Special mention to Rob the beverage director and apologies for taking up so much of his time . The food was exceptional but after much discussion and sampling we selected some fantastic wines and whisky to compliment our culinary journey. Rob’s passion , knowledge and friendly ways were brilliant. Finally the food , we had 3 courses and i had the venison as a main. Exceptional . Cooked to perfection a taste sensation and the sprouts were the best ever. Louise had mussels to start followed by steak which were both equally devine. Well done everybody if i ever get back to Nashville this will be the first place i go. Thank you so much . Mark.More

Visited for a 21st birthday while in Nashville. We wanted somewhere upmarket and fine dining rather than tacky and themed. We had a great meal and a good bottle of wine. I was happy with the choice and the bill. The restaurant was a little...cold and the view is just of the road. But good food and service were very well received. Although I had written in advance the restaurant did not make any effort to celebrate my daughters 21st which was a disappointment.More

We enjoyed our meal and it was good, but compared to other meals we had, nothing was outstanding. We had the salmon and the moroccan dish. That said, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was classy. I would definitely give it another shot.

What an amazing meal we had. Loved the atmosphere, our server Jordan was absolutely delightful, friendly, accommodating and made great recommendations. For entrees we had the filet with that delicious mushroom tort, pork chop, which was unbelievably tender and some sides. The potato salad and...the brussel sprouts were just so flavorful. Finished the meal with that olive oil cake which, believe me, is way better than it sounds. Would definitely go back if I'm in that town again!! Also, thanks JordanMore
