About
Bringle founded his first restaurant, Peg Leg Porker, in 2013. Peg Leg Porker is named after Bringle himself and his greatest win, a cancer battle that he triumphed at the age of 17. With his win, he lost his leg, which led him to create a new name and only added more fire to his passion for success. Upon opening its doors in the heart of Nashville, Peg Leg Porker was quickly named one of the hottest BBQ Joints in the country by numerous media outlets including Food Network, The Travel Channel, BBC, Southern Living Magazine, Texas Monthly, GQ, Garden and Gun Magazine and many more. Bringle’s second and much anticipated concept, Bringle’s Smoking Oasis, offers the smoke of the Southwest! The menu is stocked with smoked brisket, ever-famous pulled pork, a Bringle version of beef ribs, and an array of those can’t miss homemade sides like Mexican Street corn, chorizo queso, and Texas-style baked beans.

Bringles Smoking Oasis is renowned for their fall-off-the-bone ribs, smoked to perfection and slathered in a tangy, sweet barbecue sauce. This signature menu item is a must-try for any visitor. The service at Bringles is friendly and attentive, with staff that are knowledgeable about the menu and eager to provide recommendations. The restaurant has a casual, down-to-earth ambiance with rustic decor elements like reclaimed wood and vintage signs. Outdoor seating is available, allowing diners to enjoy the warm Tennessee weather Overall, Bringles Smoking Oasis delivers an authentic barbecue experience with their standout ribs, hospitable service, and welcoming atmosphere.

The Oasis definitely MEAT my expectations! The food was soooo good (get the pastrami, brisket, sausage, and mac and cheese), outdoor space was great with lots of seating, an outdoor bar, and Megatron size big screens, and the staff was super nice. It's also dog friendly (outside) so bring your furry friends!

Tried a decent amount of the food here. Stand out was the pastrami which was extremely tender & nicely seasoned. My favourite side was the street corn salad packed tons of flavour. Brisket was tender. Only miss was the ribs which is kinda surprising. Seeing couple nights later had mind blowing ones from peg leg. Overall liked the food & open concept.

The brisket here is second only to Franklin BBQ in Austin. Interestingly, I accidentally got pastrami in my recent take out order. What a pleasant surprise! It was perfect- juicy and tender, with incredible flavor. One of these days, I'll be lucky enough to try the beef ribs. They're always sold out.

It was our last day in Nashville. We had avoided the places down town. For several reasons! But, we fell across this one and it was excellent. It was a Thursday around noon. It’s cafeteria style. We had lots of food for just under $63. We didn’t need to eat dinner! Everything was amazing. The Brisket wasn’t dry and had great flavor. The smoke Turkey was great. The sides we had were also pretty good and easily could be shared. We had slaw, Mac-cheese, beans and banana pudding with 2 drinks! The slaw needed some salt and pepper, the Mac-cheese was awesome, the beans had this sweet spice flavor very different from anything we have had before super good! Of course the Banana Pudding was super good. But, I still think Edley’s is better! The place is clean you can eat outside or inside and the staff is super friendly!

Hands down the best barbecue in Nashville. Arrive early and you’ll get what you want! Fridays are Prime Rib and it’s fantastic. Excellent location to watch a ball game or event. Cocktails are p professionally crafted and the customer service is legendary. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION

How this establishment can’t plan for adequate smoked meats before 7 pm on a Saturday ( the third time we have experienced) is perplexing. This establishment doesn’t welcome individuals over 50- it caters for underage drinkers, and patrons in their 20’-30’s. My pet was welcomed by other pets- that was the positive… trust me- skip this place if you are from out of town- you might feel threatened for running a bar tab and bringing in next door pizza while the underage drinkers enjoy their beverages and laugh about their fake id’s…

I’ve lost a little faith in Mr. Bringle, been wanting to try this place since it opened, but haven’t ventured out that far. I am very sad, the patio is freaking amazing. Great cocktails and beer, bartenders are amazing and attentive. It is the perfect place to day drink in Nashville. But that’s where the positivity ends. They don’t do takeout, well, especially if you’re grabbing a picnic after day drinking. Who wants to eat after being in the sun for hours. The process was that organized and clearly cater to on-site dining. I thought OK, but it’s the food that matters. Disappointment continues. I didn’t think anything they did was special. Honestly, super disappointed as I have high expectations coming from peg leg porker. Now, if they added Pegleg to this location, it would be five stars. Brisket, turkey, and sausage was nothing to write home about. I would say Edleys it’s better if I’m being honest. Now, maybe I came at the wrong day, but Saturday with sunny weather in the 90s seems like they’re primetime to showcase their skill set. Besides, the proteins, the sides were roughly average. Their beans did stand out, but certainly not worth the visit. Overall, I may be back for the bar and social scene, but won’t be dining here again. It’s also very overpriced on the food side for what you get. I feel like I’ve betrayed the pitmaster of all Pitmasters, but I’ll certainly be back to the gulch location.

Absolutely excellent brisket - the best I’ve had in Nashville. It’s fork tender and smoked to perfection - reminds me of Texas style brisket. I also had the smoked Turkey - very delicious as well. The meats are sold by the 1/4 pound, so you can try more than one. The sides are generous - I had the potato salad, which was delicious, and the cucumber salad, which was refreshing. My favorite sauces were the Texas Hot and the Alabama White - you can pick and choose. They also offer pickled condiments, which I added to my potato salad for some zing. A bonus - they serve prime rib on Fridays. It looked delicious; however, I was after brisket on this visit based on the reviews. I highly recommend Bringles Smoking Oasis. It’s a little pricey, but worth every Penny!
