On our quest for a good burger in Nashville, this place has been on our list for a long time. We finally decided to try it and we’re very pleased. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by the friendly staff behind the counter and in the restaurant with smiles and welcomes. We ordered a couple of different burgers, both single and double patty and they were very good as well as the fries we had with them. The waitress even threw in a shake for free since the line had grown a little bit long and so that was a very nice touch to the already very friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be returning and telling our friends and relatives about this little place.

I had the chicken burger w/ sweet potato fries, my husband had the chili burger and regular fries. The food was very tasty. It's an older establishment, but filled w/ atmosphere, outside dining, friendly staff, very helpful to the 'new kids on the block'. Variety of yummy sauces to dip your fries in or pour over your food. I had the Chipotle Mayo and it was good, but a bit spicy for my palette. My husband said the burger was delicious. We will definitely go back!

Burgers as big as your head! Fresh meat and condiments. We went during the COVID virus so the was only take out but they had a few picnic tables out back that you could sit at. Burger was fresh made and very delicious

Excited to try and service was okay. Food was nothing special. Burger had no seasoning and fries were grease...a paper bag of grease. Disappointed that this burger was found when Googled "best burger in Nashville".

This is our second time to Gabby's. We come to Nashville to visit our son who introduced us to these wonderful burgers! Living in Vermont we don't get specialty burgers, and for us they are fabulous treat. This time we bought friends and they agree, best dang burgers EVER. Keep up the great work, we'll see you all next year. Oh and did I mention, the employees really seem to enjoy their jobs, and we Loved that! Thank you.

I've been eating there since they opened. What a wonderful place to eat and talk and laugh. Staff is just unbelievably nice and make you feel like old friends. Food is just good. Not fancy. Just good.

My burger, sweet potato fries, & fruit tea were a-maxing! I really liked the sauces, especially the wasabi mayo on my burger. The employees were honestly the best part of our experience at Gabby’s. Everyone was friendly, in a good mood and genuinely welcoming! Best burger I’ve had in a long time.

Ordered the Jeffrey Simmons from the secret (shhhh!) menu and Whoo boy that was a workout. It was really good. I could have taken a bit more seaming on the Patty but this burger is a hoss and so good. Service excellent as always!

I took my friend to experience the best burgers and fries in Nashville. We both loved it. The Gabby burger was huge! We shared and had plenty. The people were friendly and the vibe was cool. I’d definitely go back.

My first visit and I’m already addicted! My wife had been raving about Gabby’s and finally took me there. It’s not much more than a shack, but the food is amazing! I tried the hot dog and asked for peppers onions and cheddar cheese. I can honestly say I have never had a better hot dog anywhere! It’s a large, all beef sausage, split lengthways and grilled on a flat top, served in a really good Italian-style hoagie roll with the onions, peppers and melting cheese on top, Couldn’t decide between regular fries and sweet potato fries so got a half-and-half order. Both were excellent, fresh, hot and natural-cut from the sacks of potatoes in the corner. Delicious! Be sure to scoop some of their homemade “Kickin’ Ketchup” from the urn on the condiments bar. But the hot dog… wow! Superb and a meal in itself. The burgers looked amazing and that’ll be my choice on my next trip (if I can resist the hot dog). Note that this place is small: get there early or be prepared to wait in line. A bonus: the staff are all cheerful, friendly and helpful. I can see why it was appeared on so many “best of” lists.

Best burger I’ve had in over 30 years of visiting the USA
Juicy and flavourful with a really tasty bbq sauce. Add some amazing sweet potato fries and I was a very happy and full customer
Sat at the counter , the staff were just lovely and friendly with everyone
When we revisit Nashville this will be on our must do list

A coworker took me here for lunch. Absolutely loved the hamburger. The picture doesn't do it justice. The two patties, and buns made for a burger that was over 5 inches tall. Everything was hot and fresh. The fries were seasoned perfectly. The service was excellent. And the staff thanked US for coming in as we were leaving. Heck, I thanked them for a fabulous lunch. I ate a lot in Nashville over a 3 day period. This hands down were the best meal that I had over a 3-day period. Someone once told me, if you see firefighters and police officers eating at a place, it's good. Yep, multiple firefighters and police officers were circling through to get their lunch while I was partaking in the best burger and fries that I have had in years!

This place is a small restaurant with fantastic service and friendly workers. The food is fresh, made to order, and the quality is out of this world. You definitely want to grab a burger here!
