The southern food is good, but not exceptional. The fried chicken and brisket were very good and enjoyable. Great ambiance and live music. Great combination. Good friendly service. Unfortunately draft beer was not available and the bottle selection wasn't the best.

Went for a quite date night following a few days of Broadway and the noise. What a great find the food and service were absolutely top notch and the atmosphere was on point. A must do restaurant for downtown Nashville.

I thought the food was average at best. The green beans and mashed potatoes were just mediocre, and I have had much better at Cracker Barrel.

We went to Puckett’s on the advice of our hotel staff and we were quite pleased. The food was very good. Prices reasonable. Service was prompt as well. The wait staff helps each other out to deliver food as it is ready. We arrived at...6:45 on a Wednesday and were seated immediately. Live music began at 7:00 and was very enjoyable. Would recommend and may go back tomorrow!More

We went to this restaurant based on reviews. I ordered nachos and my husband ordered a steak with 2 sides. Our food came out cold. We told the waitress who was very apologetic and right away took our plates and said she would speak to...the manager. About 10 minutes later our food came out again …and you won’t believe this! COLD again!! We told the waitress to take the plates away, that we didn’t want them to bring us out food for the 3rd time. The waitress felt awful, obviously wasn’t her fault. Not sure how you bring food out cold twice! I would have given them 1 star but the waitress was really great about it. Now after reading reviews I see we weren’t the only ones that received cold food. This place was one and done for us!More

A trip to Nashville is not complete without stopping in to eat at Puckett's! This restaurant was recommended to us by a hotel staff member, and the breakfast and lunch did not disappoint! Awesome decore, staff, and service! We will definitely be back on our...next trip!More

I visited Pucketts on my last trip to Nashville and we were so happy with our food we went back again on our last day before leaving. everyone was very friendly and the food was great. I had the fried chicken which was excellent and...the deep fried brownie desert was possibly the greatest desert ive ever had. this is a must hit spot.More

Had the Bubba’s eggs Benedict. Not a light breakfast but delicious. Eggs, sausage, biscuit, potato and gravy. What could go wrong. Service was great , fun atmosphere.

We walked in, late on a Sunday evening. It was quite crowded but the wait was short. The band was decent. The drinks were, meh! The food was okay. The girls had sandwiches that were good. Me and my buddy both had Shrimp and Grits....Quite disappointing! The shrimp were perfect. The grits were like soup! Not the way grits are supposed to be served. Wanted to try the place for breakfast but decided not to go back. DISAPPOINTED!More

We read about the restaurant online and saw some mixed reviews, however decided to give it a shot. Overall, it was a pretty good meal with excellent entertainment. Most of the food was pretty good, including the fried steak, chicken tenders, grilled cheese, pimento cheese...balls, french fries and sweet potato fries. The salad was quite sub-par with nothing special about it. The green beans were similar, being quite plain. Also, they were out of many of the local beers, which was a bit disappointing. The environment was great due to the really wonderful Jolly String Quartet. We could have listened to them all night long.More

We were looking for a good barbecue on our first day in Nashville and this place was recommended to us. We had high hopes going in but unfortunately the barbecue was less than stellar. We had a brisket platter, A Nashville hot chicken sandwich plate...and a side of pulled pork. None were hot, the fries that came with the food were room temperature. The brisket was dried out. The pulled pork was slightly more moist but both needed a lot of barbecue sauce. The hot chicken sandwich was a slab of chicken with a couple sad looking pickles on two pieces of what was supposed to be Texas toast but was more like thick cut white bread that was hard-pressed to be called toasted. The positives were that the service was very friendly and fast. Wish I could recommend but if you are especially looking for a barbecue, look somewhere else.More

French toast and skillet dishes were outstanding. The best French toast ever and the peanut butter syrup. Amazing. Great staff and service
