BREAKFAST WITHOUT PORK? Not me. The service was good and all the sides were good. The problem I had was, they don’t tell you their meat products are turkey based. Additionally, they are extremely expensive
Visited for breakfast on a Saturday morning, it wasn’t too busy when we arrived but definitely filled up while we were there which made it a little noisy.
The hot chocolate was delicious, I ordered the garden omelette with the potatoes (defs choose the potatoes...they were super tasty!) and my husband got the banana foster pancakes which were soooo light and fluffy and the sauce was amazing!
Highly recommend visiting - the staff are lovely also!More
My wife and I walk from the Marriott downtown to the garden because we heard about this place. It was about mile and a half. We arrived just when it opened (lucky for us) the service was outstanding. I believe our waitress was related to...whomever the chef who made the steak flavorings because she refer to it as what she grew up on. In any case the garden is only open Saturday and Sunday and since it was Sunday it will be my only brunch there until my next trip to Nashville. It is a must go brunch enjoy mamosa and steak and eggs . FantasticMore
I had high expectations based on the reviews. The cafe felt dingy with damaged paint and awkward seating with cheap placemats. When they brought my coffee, the cup was dirty. The cream for my coffee was in a disposable plastic cup. My son's $5 hot...cocoa tasted like packaged cocoa made with water. The eggs benedict lacked an identifiable hollandaise - there was just something on the bottom of the plate that was thin and yellow and looked like egg yolk. It lacked flavor. For a coffee, cocoa and 2 entrees (bananas foster and eggs benedict), the tab was $43. Would not go again.More
Literally everything here is delicious. I have never had something from the menu that didn’t meet my expectations. From banana foster pancakes to the salmon everything hit the nail on the head. I’ve been here a few times so I’ve tried quite a bit. The...customer service is spectacular. Five stars all around.More
To begin with, let’s be clear that the wait is long as hell! the first time I went was a Saturday & then we went again Sunday before we left. Saturday was an hour wait & Sunday was maybeeee 20/30, HOWEVER, It was very much...so worth it. I went to Nashville with a friend from Chicago who hadn’t been before & my mom. it just so happened to have been TSU grad. weekend🙄 BUT, again worth the wait. my mom ordered the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes & LOVED them!!! my friend & I ordered mimosas. the purple rain was BOMB!!! then we both ordered the Cinnabon French Toast😭😭😭 OMG was that the best French Toast i’ve ever had🥰. the woman next to us had a steak (which came with pancakes) that I HAD to come back & try so we came back Sunday & I tried that but switched the pancakes for the french toast again... bc why wouldn’t I?! Definitely would recommend and HAVE been recommending since I left. Do NOT miss out!More
I heard about this from my local AirBNB guide book & guest reviews. Knowing very well that they didn't take reservations, my friends & I were prepared to wait. We went on a holiday weekend (Sunday) around 10:45 am arrival. It was full & the...wait was over an hour. Luckily we were able to get a couple of seats outside & enjoy mimosas from the patio bar (small w/ limited options but we had what we needed).
Once seated, not only did our server check on us throughout the meal but so did several other of the employees.
I ordered the pancakes (original) with house made sausage & scrambled eggs and added on potatoes. YUMMMM These were by far some of the best scrambled eggs I have had. All the other food was just as good too.
My other friends ordered different styles of eggs Benedict with the same feelings about their food. Really great.
We all said that this was one of the best meals we had in Nashville.
Added tip: After brunch we walked a few blocks down to the Tennessee State Museum to enter Bicentennial Park and walked through the park to the capital.More
