Come for the amazing food, stay for the history. 417 Union's menu is full of delicious food. We were here for breakfast and everything was excellent. Very fresh and flavorful. The downstairs is decorated in WWII memorabilia and the upstairs décor pays tribute to the...Civil War.More

If you are visiting Nashville, you MUST eat breakfast here. The lemon-blueberry pancakes were unbelievable! The wait staff is friendly, and the food came out quickly.

Came to Nashville with my girlfriend to spend the weekend and found 417 Union as one of the breakfast places open during these difficult times. Great Food and extremely nice owners and personnel.

Stopped in for Sunday morning breakfast and our tastebuds were extremely appreciative! We ordered the breakfast quesadilla, biscuits and chicken and waffles (with bacon baked in the waffle!). Everything was delicious and enough to take home for a snack later. Our waiter Mike gets an...A++ for his service (I thought that kind of attention was long lost) ... And the decor was very cool with all the historic photos and old school ambiance. Stop in and give YOUR tastebuds a treat!More

Other than a tiny sign out front, you’d never know this place was a restaurant. But you’d be sorry to skip it. Between the pancake combo and omelette 417, it was one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in Nashville. The iced mocha was really...good as well. Make sure you grab a glass/bottle of that blackberry jam on the way out too, it’s wonderful. On a secondary note, the service was great and the interior has lots of US war history which is really cool as well.More

When we first walked up, I almost walked away, from the front door it looked very small and claustrophobic. It is not, there is an upstairs and very open. Service was great and breakfast was good, but expensive. They have an Award Winning Bloody Mary,...it looks really good, although I did not try it, was a bit to early, maybe next time.More

Pensamientos... My wife and I celebrating our 31st Weddind Anniversary came to Nashville and found this fantastic restaurant. Our waiter Olivia was courteous, knowledgeable and prompt. We had the standard American fare for breakfast in a cozy and clean ambiance which made it nice. The food was fresh and well seasoned. My wife said her bacon and potatoes were cold but overall well prepared. I enjoyed mine. The establishment on the first floor dining area was WWII themed, music and all. I asked why and Olivia told us the owner was a history major. She also recommended we go and see the second floor dining area. That was really amazing. It dates back to the Civil War. One room was a Union Room, the other Confederate. Quite unique with plaques, maps, pictures and more memorabilia. We were quite pleased. Anyway, if you get a chance when you're in town, check it out for yourself. It was an excellent experiance.More

Great place for breakfast. Our waiter, Mike, was awesome and tended to all our needs and super friendly. Everything cooked to liking. Great tasting food all around. The homemade jam was fabulous and made me buy another biscuit just to eat.

It is literally around the corner. If you are at the front entrance of TPAC facing the Veteran's Memorial walk south and then turn east down the street…maybe a 3 block walk.

We thought it was really overpriced, but then again, we actually thought most restaurants and bars were expensive. I'm from England and even I was shocked how expensive it was to eat and drink in Nashville!
