We were only there for drinks and to listen to music but given the past year that was plenty. Given who's behind the place it isnt your dive honkytonk but still great vibe, beers w/ souvenir glasses and at least when we were there excellent...band. Prompt service though pretty busyMore

Great ambiance with live music. The rooftop is a prime place to be if you get get a seat! When I walked in the hostess was able to seat me quickly. Ordered wings as well, relatively quick service and great live music!

Usually when you go to a place like this, a fairly trendy bar/restaurant owned by a famous person, you get pretty standard fare. Average food, a bit over priced, etc. Ole Red isn’t that place. The food was above average for the type of place...you’re going to, the service was good, we got sat fairly quickly and served pretty quick. We got good seats really close to the stage and enjoyed the atmosphere of Ole Red. The price is slightly high, but with the ambiance and live music, good live music, I can overlook that considering all of it put together. I’d come here again and recommend it to others for sure.More

Dined on the rooftop level with excellent view of Broadway and other establishments along the avenue. Really had excellent food and service by staff. Could hear live music everywhere and enjoyed myself immensely. Had a wonderful chicken fried steak, corn on cob, mashed potatoes and...it was heavenly, they didn't smother with gravy and it was delicious. The server was Kim and she was smiling and attentive. Haul your butt down here with live music and enjoyable evening or afternoon.More

If you're Blake fan, Stop in! It's loaded with photos of him, and little personal touches. Yes, it's like most every other place in Broadway, but food was good, service was good but the Blake touches sets it apart. Be on the Lookout, as Saturday...night Blake walked in and hopped on stage!! An experience to never forget!More

Dropped in for a beer our first afternoon in Nashville. Sat at high tops near bar. Did not eat. Beer was cold. Service was great. House band was excellent. I lost a money clip full of cash while there. The bartender Travis turned it in...to his manager and I was able to retrieve it intact. Says a lot for the employees working there. Thanks Ole Red and thanks Travis.More

Visited Nashville over "Spring Blake" with the family. Ole Red was one of the very few must see and do's on my family's list, as we all love country music and Blake Shelton. While the live music stage is large and live performance was good,...the place seemed to lack character compared to many of the other honky-tonk's on Broadway. To each is their own and it was still unique and worth checking out from a musical perspective. The large balcony looked nice even though it wasn't open at the time, as well as the additional area upstairs away from the live music. The food was a bit overpriced and just ok in my opinion. However, after spending a little time in Nashville this is to be expected as its more about the night scene, not families unfortunately. None the less, the only things my kids really wanted was their soda in the souvenir mug which comes with a cowboy hat lid. We were one of the first ones in the restaurant. We sat down to order our drinks as the kids were excited as they saw the table right behind us by the bar order and already had them. The waiter proceeded to tell us that they just ran out, not five minutes after they had opened. Now I realize this is not the waiters fault, however he was initially very unapologetic and proceeded only to get a manager when he couldn't figure out how else to possibly help the matter of two deeply disappointed children. The waiter later came around to realizing that a little care and compassion in the situation could go a long way and was apologetic and did everything he could to turn around our first experience at Ole Red throughout the rest of the experience. The issue that that still remained and will likely keep me from ever spending a penny at Ole Red and maybe on anything Blake related, is the manager that was on duty at the time. I basically had to recommend to her to give the kids any type of souvenir cup she could come up with, to appease the situation of them running out of what was obviously a highly publicized and advertised product. The couple at the bar that carried 4 of them out of the bar immediately, obviously knew they wanted them as souvenirs, and didn't even stay and spend any additional money, just took the cups and left. None the less, the manager was rude throughout the entire interaction, insincere and obviously should not be in charge of handling any customer issues. After seeing Nashville on a Saturday night, I'm sure it can be difficult at times dealing with intoxicated people, but I would expect completely different care for a first time family during a Sunday afternoon lunch. In the end, the waiter realized his lack of compassion, acknowledged the lack of compassion of the manager as well, and did everything he could to make up for it. In the end, the waiter understood and apologized, the kids got their souvenir mug as intended and the waiter got a larger than usual tip. As for me and my wife, we were left very unimpressed by all of it, especially the customer service for first time customers.More
