Chicken cacciatore was huge, it easily feeds two. Served on a bed of spaghetti. Fast delivery of food. Full bar & good food. Good value, good serving size. Pasta bowls could be filled a little mire.

We were looking for a pasta dinner night while on vacation in the Nashville area. We found this place and were glad we could get a reservation. Once we got there, they easily accommodated is to move to a table on the patio. The chopped...salad was so tasty, and all of us enjoyed our pastas. They actually screwed up my order but we’re great about making it right. Mistakes happen. All in all, a great dinner!More

This used to be one of our favorite restaurants; we’ve even eaten in the one in St Louis. However, our experience was so bad this time, we won’t be returning or recommending it. When we arrived, there was a big discussion about our table…we wanted...to be outside and, except for one, all were still in the sun. They initially told us there was a party of 12 coming in and they needed the table in the shade even though it was for 4 and there were no other available tables near it to give them room for 12. After more discussion we were given the table in the shade, but had no service for over 10 minutes. After a cocktail, we ordered our salads and entrees and had another big wait for the salad to be delivered only to have the entrees arrive before we had 2 bites of our salads. We sent them back and 2 minutes later our server arrived with them again and and told us the restaurant was too busy to remake them or she could put them under the heat lamps. Neither choice was acceptable, so we chose to have them served. Needless to say dinner wasn’t great, entrees were mediocre at best. The whole experience was extremely disappointing and we will not return. There are too many other Nashville restaurants offering good food and service.More

Really good pizzas (the fennel sausage was excellent) and a good lasagna. The gelato got two thumbs up from our college/high school daughters. The wait staff was extremely attentive. Definitely go if you're in the One City area of West End.

We were staying at the hotel next door and wanted to grab dessert after dinner. It was late so we sat at the bar and decided to get a glass of wine too. The bartender was excellent - suggesting two wines that we really enjoyed...and giving us some history on them as well. We ordered the chocolate chip cookies and tiramisu. The cookies were two large yummy cookies served warm. The tiramisu was just average in our opinion. My five star review is because the service and the staff were absolutely amazing and went out of their way to accommodate us. We wished we had picked this place for dinner as the food looked amazing! We will be back to eat next time. Also, excellent atmosphere in the restaurant with a really nice bar area too.More

For the price point this is a five big, shiny star restaurant. Homemade pasta, great pizza, good cocktails, fantastic appetizers. Add to that good service and a very pleasant atmosphere and I don’t know what else you could want. Will be back for sure!

Pastaria is such a great local restaurant in Nashville and we've enjoyed getting takeout from here over the past few months. We've gotten a few dishes from them, but the bucatini rigate and chicken parm are our favorites. The broccolini was also excellent and we'd...order that again. We've also tried the pepperoni pizza with homemade pepperoni, but the fontina cheese didn't work and we wouldn't order that again. The restaurant has just opened back up for dining inside, so we're excited to try that since we've only done takeout here. The pasta is homemade and excellent and it's a great restaurant if you're in Nashville.More

The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was energizing and the service was really great. Tried several dishes along with their pizza which I really liked.

We visit Nashville a few times a year and we love it! Each time we visit, this restaurant is our pick for a rainy day brunch. It has covered, free parking and a great ambiance. The restaurant is large, open, bright, and clean. The server...was very good and very down to earth, not stuffy or fake at all and I appreciate that. We all had mimosas - excellent, with fresh squeezed OJ. My husband and I both had breakfast sandwiches and my daughter had pancakes. All of us loved the food and were full. Everythi g is so fresh here. I love seeing the chefs preparing food behind the counter. I love this place so much, I'd like to visit for dinner next time. I always recommend this restaurant to friends visiting Nashville. The only thing that would make this place better is if they offered Urban Chestnut beer, since Pastaria originated in STL.More

Enjoyed our first visit to Pastaria at the recommendation of our daughter. Friendly, attentive staff with positive attitudes. Enjoyed appetizer of risotto balls with marinara, and entrées of roasted spaghetti with clams, Pistachio Ravioli, and salad entrée. Food was fresh, tasty and artfully presented. Clam...dish was over-salted...maybe salted twice? Modern, open decor with kitchen operations in full view. Could be noisy with all the hard surfaces. Great selection of craft brews on draught. Happy hour prices including few appetizers, Sunday-Thursday. We were too early, but some good value if you come late afternoon...and not just at the bar...I checked. Free parking in underground garage, attached. Tip: Walking distance to The Parthenon in Centennial Park. Alert: Our car GPS couldn’t find 8 City Blvd street address, and Waze took us to the wrong place. View on Google Maps helped locate Pastaria. For our gang of three: two drinks including a well-made martini, one appetizer shared, and three entrées including tax and tip was $110. We plan to return.More
