This is a very attractive space. Veering towards minimalism, you are however surrounded by art in the 21C Hotel. The restaurant has a number of different areas for both eating and drinking. We opted for an evening of sharing five small plates. The delivery of...the dishes, thanks to our bartender was impeccable. As soon as we finished a dish he would instruct the kitchen to fire our next plate. Far too often food comes in rapid succession. Not here. We had items like cornbread, lumpia, maitake mushrooms (divine), sweet potatoes and brussel sprouts. Yes, I know those items sound rather pedestrian. Not the way they do them at Gray & Dudley however. They were done with exciting preparations, herbs, spices and sauces. We were served some very well curated wines and beers with our food. The guys behind the bar here are first rate. Extremely personable making you feel immensely welcome. We departed completely satisfied.More

Eating surrounded by multi-media art was quite a TREAT...including our personal table penguin! We relished the wide selection of world class gin and gastronomic flavors. We ate family style which I would do again to get a taste of even more of what the chefs...have to offer. We were accommodated at every turn by the staff. Exceptional experience.More

Exceptional experience! Lake, our server/ bartender, was amazing. He made me the BEST Manhattan I ever had! I highly recommend him and trust him to make me the cocktail of his choice! A true Mixologist!!!

What a wonderful dinner we had at this restaurant inside the very interesting hotel, 21C in Nashville! We so enjoyed getting off of the boisterous activity around Broadway..... this is high-end dining at its best. Highly recommend when you’re in this area.

We held our company Christmas party there for 12 people in the private East Room. Our reservation was for 6 p.m. on a Friday night. As we entered the restaurant, we noticed only 2 tables occupied. That should have been a sign for us to...leave - the fact that the place was empty. It took a long time for the appetizers to arrive, and even longer for the entrees to arrive. I understand that it's for a large party, but that's not excusable, as we dined the following evening at Kayne Prime and had excellent and timely service. Regarding the appetizers and shared plates, the charcuterie boards was very sparsely filled (only 3-4 pieces of cheese) and the pate' was displeasing; the duck fried rice was very dry and overcooked; and the rangoons were below average. The brussels sprouts was above average, and cornbread was freshly baked and pretty good. As for entrees, the strip loin was delicious and well cooked, but a little salty. However, the chicken was pretty dry, and the white fish was extremely overcooked and dry (barely edible). Cocktails and wine selection were good. After a disappointing dinner, no one wanted to order any desserts. In the end, all 12 of our guests agreed - stating that the food was not very good, especially for the price, and the service took a long time. I would never go back nor recommend this place to anyone.More

After a friends night out we stopped in for dinner. The menu is limited, food was terrible, over priced and the personnel were rude! We will not be returning!

This was a set price and set dinner menu. You could order the ham or turkey . The appetizer tray had salami, deviled eggs, salami and pimento cheese. They had a farm fresh seasoned mixed greens salad. The dinner had carrots, green beans, sour kraut...and Brussel sprouts. Desert was a sweet potato cheese cake or toffee cake. I feel it was a generous amount of food for $55 a person.More

I love eating in the restaurants that are in the 21C Museums. All the amazing contemporary art in the museums carry's over into the restaurants. This restaurant was no exception. We decided to sit at the bar and the bartender was great. My husband discussed...different types of bourbons with him and he told us stories and we told him stories. He was just so friendly and fun. We both ordered a burger and they were excellent. You would think a burger was a burger but they somehow made these taste amazing.More

Excellent service, Attractively prepared, imaginative recipes with fresh food. Quiet, attractive setting. A great date night. Take advantage of the valet parking while you are downtown (we went to the Nashville Symphony afterwards)

We are not sure what happened this evening, but we watched table after table receiving food who were seated 1/2 hour to an hour after we were seated and ordered food. Looking at the kitchen there seemed to be enough cooks and enough servers on...the floor. We had an engagement planned 2 1/2 hours after being seated, but had to leave before dinner. We made them aware of our situation an hour before we had to leave, but I guess it wasn't noted or important. The manager took off 2 appetizers from the total which was a poor excuse of an apology. In the end a very dissapointing eveningMore
