We stopped by Sun Diner for breakfast based on reviews we read on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. Everything we had was amazing! We had the French Toast and the Breakfast Burrito. There was a line when we got there, but the line moved...More

Went on an off day apparently to have an early dinner with the kids. Sat down to order drinks and was informed that the soda machine wasn't working so they could have tea or water. Then ordered Bananas Foster's Pancakes and later told they are...More

Favorite breakfast in Nashville and coming from some breakfast diehards. The staff is great and food is uniquely theirs. For breakfast I would call it a $$ or $$$ considering its breakfast. I would say it is easy to spend $15 per person. There is...More

Interesting place with mostly wooden bar/counters and some rib-sticking food. I had the pork-belly hash browns wiht sunny-side-up eggs and they were quite tasty, but perhaps a bit pricey for the experience: I'd eat them again, but I wouldn't be searching them out particularly. Service...More

Place got filled up quick. We got there early. My young son and I sat at the bar top which he thought was awesome. Food was hot and delicious. Was easy to find something for a kiddo to enjoy. Prices weren’t terrible, but it’s Nashville...More

We wanted a place to eat where we could hear each other talk. The Sun Diner is only 2-3 doors from the main drag, but it did not have a band. The food was typical diner and was very good.

Sun diner was an unexpected delight. Known for their Cream Brûlée French toast but the diner has so much more to offer. Most seating is around the counter with only 2 booth tables. The diner was perfect for breakfast and a must visit if your...More

The diner is clean. A little cramped. We arrived too early for the breakfast buffet so ordered off the menu. It was a little fancier fare than what you think of when you think diner but the food was good. Not sure what they do...More

Early is good. If you don't mind sitting at counter.. which I happen to think is the best place to see everything and get lots of info on the diner and downtown Nashville. Enjoy!

Plenty of parking near restaurant. Depending on where you are staying I would suggest using Uber or Lyft since we paid $30 per car. The food was delicious and I love a place with history on the walls!
