Service was good but the food was disappointing. Kalbi was fairly good but the chigae was lackluster and the bibimbap never achieved the crispy rice edge inside the bowl. We won’t return.

It was our first time eating Korean food and it was delicious. We had order Kimchi jjigae, Korean BBQ, and Jjamppong. I really love the kimchi jjigae and BBQ! It was the perfect meal to eat on a rainy day. Not only was the food...amazing but the service was phenomenal! The waitress who severed us was very helpful, nice, and friendly. I legit recommend it to anyone who wants to try Korean food for the first time with good prices, serves and food.More
Went for Christmas dinner. It is nice to know our fav Korean bbq restaurant opens on Christmas Day with all the regular menu. We ordered 5 different kind of meat, bibimbap, and jige. As any other regular Korean does, they come with good amount of...banchan, which, of course includes, kimchi and other tasty Korean dishes. Meat came with no time and start to sizzling on our table. Maybe 5 meat and 2 entree for 4 of us were little too much. But we truly enjoyed.More
I recently tried Seoul Garden for the first time after some friends absolutely insisted that we go before an event together downtown. Everything was pretty good - it just didn't blow my mind or stand out, really. For our party of six, we ordered steamed...beef dumplings (pretty good), mixed seafood pancake (okay, but very gummy texture), some egg drop soups, pork bulgogi (good), short ribs (good), a noodle dish (okay), and drinks (barley tea, sake, and a Korean liquor). The side dishes were good as well (my favorites were the fish cakes, spicy cucumber, and potato). Nothing was bad, but I didn't think anything was outstanding. The service was good (our waitress was really friendly and helpful, but the the service was a little slow). Not a bad meal, but not a meal I'll run out to repeat too soon. (None of the friends I was with wanted Korean BBQ, so if I go again, I'd love to try the BBQ menu for sure). Still, very solid meal if you want some Korean food in Nashville.More
They say on their door they close at 2:00 we walked in at 1:30. She said they quit serving. Never ever come here
My husband and I had never had Korean food so we decided to give it a try...we’re glad we did! The banchan was wonderful! My bibimbap was excellent...I loved the sauce! Hubby had a dish with vegetables and chicken...it was spicy and a big hit...with him! Our waitress helped by answering all of our questions. Highly recommend!!!More
We wanted to try something different & thought the idea of table side BBQ would be fun. Didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as we did. All the sides really made the meal. I now want to pickle everything, lol. The short ribs were...our favorite but the flap steak was also very good. Just eat or move it fast so it doesn’t keep cooking.More
Ate here evening of 5/12/2019. Very clean restaurant and waitress was excellent. Give you more than you can eat. Best bang for your buck. Will definitely eat here next time I come to Nashville.
This great restaurant has good service and exquisite and authentic Korean food! Filling, tasty and exotic, Seoul Garden is one of my favorites. Highly recommend
Went with a group and order several different types of meats to cook. It was delicious! I highly recommend the spicy pork, spare ribs and spicy beef! Very reasonable if with a large group! Amazing atmosphere.
This place serves up authentic and very tasty Korean meals. It is kid friendly with great service. One of my rules of thumb when eating at "foreign food" restaurants is to check out how many of the customers are natives of that country. In this...case, there were many Koreans in the place which I take to mean that the Seoul Garden reminds them of home. Yummy!More
Ok...I have purposely have NOT reviewed my favorite restaurant. Why not? Because I want to keep it a secret... lol. Many times my husband and I are the only Caucasian diners in this restaurant. And many other diners are speaking Korean.... I assume. Yes the...service can be a little slow but relax and enjoy your barley tea or sake Upon seating your table will fill with 5-6 small dishes of Korean specialties such as Kimchi. Yes eat it. It’s good for your GI bugs. Also pickled carrots, potatoes, shredded carrots and hard boiled eggs and more. We almost always order their egg drop soup and Bc they know us they also bring their wonderful barley tea to the table. Close your eyes and you can imagine you are in South Korea. All the waitresses are of course Korean too. Very sweet and helpful too if you are sitting at one of the self bar-b-que tables. Fun to do if you are in a group. They also have several rooms for private parties too. Book ahead and be patient Bc it will be a little hard to understand them on the phone. Seoul Garden serves Korean and American beer and Sake too. Some of our favorite dishes include bibimbop, jibjab and riblets and pork. All meals end with a sliced orange for dessert. Closed on Monday’sMore
The food is okay, but service is terrible. I went there and was seated, but ended up waiting for 15 minutes without any acknowledgement - we didn’t even get water. All of the staff were avoiding eye contact and would not react when called -...definitely never coming back. It’s a shame - I used to love Seoul Garden.More
I might be wrong, but it was the only Korean BBQ restaurant I could find in the Nashville area. Service was slow, and they were going to charge me for kimchi refill. I couldn't believe what I heard. Extra charge for the refill?
Took my Wife out for a special dinner. We were seated immediately. We didn't get a waitress for 20 minutes... Not off to a good start... Our order was taken and came out fairly quick. I ordered the spicy squid.....don't do that....it was very watery...and tasteless. My Wife ordered the glass noodle dish....it was fair... We were finished and waiting for the check for about 15 minutes. Only 2 waitresses so it wasn't their fault.....Just understaffed. Quality of food was not good enough to make me want to go back. Drive to Clarksville.... there are better Korean restaurants there.More
