Cheap lunch, awesome ingredients, cool motif, friendly staff. A must do in Nashville. Really, don’t miss this even if you think it sounds odd.

This hot dog stand is always a must when we visit Nashville. It seems to be always open, even on rainy day. The hot dogs have different toppings, all are good! Picnic tables surround the venue, it’s a walk up to order. Start dreaming and...visit!More
Stop by to get my picture in front of the I Dream of Weanie sign and decided to get a hotdog with just cheese and onion and it was probably one of the best hotdogs I’ve ever had
You have to love the walk up restaurant - in a yellow VW bus! The hot dogs are great and the staff is very friendly. Several picnic tables are in the shade. I’ll be back!
If you like hot dogs, you will probably love this place. We did. I had a hot dog with goat cheese and Vidalia onions marmalade on it. Who knew that would be super delicious. Mac and cheese is worth the calories. Just plain fun.
This was a stop on a food tour. We got to meet the chef and chat. We got to sample 3 of her unique creations. Delicious.
I was lucky to visit I Dream of Weenie as part of a food tour. We were given a hot dog with three different types of toppings. It was delicious and very filling. A special bonus was the Buffalo Rock Ginger Ale that they serve....It’s amazing and the perfect compliment to a great lunch.More
We saw this on “you gotta eat here”. Ubered from downtown to here, yes they have all kinds of garnishes. I had the pickle dog, mmmmm. The kitchen is a VW old van, too cool. There is I think 2 bars close by if you want...to spend more time. Sorta like a vintage area, clothes store- used...More
I wondered how a hot dog could be so good that a food truck could be ranked so high. Just go get one. It's well worth it. Go for the homemade pimento cheese and throw some Tennessee chow chow on it because when in Rome,...after all. You won't be mad. Oh, and grab some of the little homemade shortbread cookies if they have them that day. This was my second best meal while I was in town recently (trip number 5).More
Can a hot dog really be amazing or extraordinary? Absolutely! I tried the pimento dog and it was delicious! This is an outdoor food stand, so be prepared for the weather. We were there on a beautiful day and enjoyed eating outside at the picnic...tables. I plan to go back so I can try other varieties.More
