We celebrated our 25th anniversary last night by going. We did not have reservations but we were able to sit at the bar. Our server was very attentive. She anticipated everything we would want. Got the filet, lobster tail and baked potato, along with 2 orders...of sushi. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection. Everything was so scrumptious. Dessert was creme brûlée. Mouthwatering. Best experience that I have had for dinner. So romantic. I would of loved for the piano player to have been there above the bar. It is expensive but if your celebrating something it is a definite must try.More

We came to Nashville for my best friend's birthday and since she loves steak, I made a reservation. The ambiance and decor right when you walk in is incredible! The staff was so friendly and welcoming and gave us a beautiful table near the wine...room. We had a very sweet waiter named Logan who picked up on the hint that we were celebrating her birthday. They brought us some delicious hot bread to start, along with the most amazing truffle butter- literally to die for! We ordered the petit filet mignon with the Mac and cheese. Holy crap...we ate the whole thing because it just melted in your mouth. The american mule and cherry blossom was delicious. This place is a must if you're looking for an incredible dining experience. They are very good at what they do!!! We will definitely be back for the next birthday! Thank you!!!!More

We were here last year before Covid and went again this week. I'm happy to report the experience was just as good as last year. The staff really went out of their way to support us as we had asked for a quieter table to...have a business discussion. The service was superb. The food was amazing. The drinks were great. Just bring your wallet!More

Hands down the best steakhouse in Nashville and must admit I think I had the best meal and service of my life at Jeff Ruby's. I haven't ate non plant based or dined out in months, so this was a well deserved date night treat....It was packed and we didn't have reservations that are highly recommended but the manager was able to get us a nice plush cozy booth. Our servers were attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and everything was to our satisfaction. Let me begin by mentioning that my eyes were way bigger than my stomach. What can I say? I love good food. First we ordered the Fire and Ice Seafood Tower with a Cesear salad. Absolutely delicious! Entree I had the Filet Mignon Steak and Lobster with a side of Asperagus, and creamy mashed potatoes. Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Thought I was done, nope can't forget about dessert. I couldn't resist and had to try the Jack Daniel's Truffle Cake and Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee Both were amazing! Enjoyed the warm lavender infused towel to wipe our hands after dinner. Overall five stars across the board and highly recommended for any special occasion.More

Raw Oysters in Nashville, impossible, sushi in a prime steak house- improbable, a righteous steak in a Nashville steakhouse- absolutely. I checked in with my daughter and her girlfriend because of a recommendation from the impeccable MC at the Dream Hotel (Tony)- as usual he...was on point with this place. And thanks to FEDEX, the most delicious and delectable oysters are flown in daily to be served here, east coast, west coast, Canadian- briny and tastes like the ocean:) yes they serve these at Jeff Ruby's. a must have at this place if you like raw oysters. King Crab claws (from the Deadliest Catch variety) are another must have item on the app list...when you're in a place like this and see a fairly exotic menu item for a steak place- order it. top shelf cocktails had by all. I'm an old school guy and the mixologist here knows how to make an honorable old fashioned (although I asked for the Woodford reserve bourbon and orange bitters). I questioned a steak house serving sushi but my daughter was game to try this as her entree and was not disappointed. Jeff Ruby's has a different flavor profile on their sushi rolls but made it happen and in a great way. But me and my other guest had to order the steak (NY Strip for me and a filet mignon for her). I know they say not to put anything on a steak and just enjoy the flavor of great beef but Jeff Ruby's knows how to make a proper sauce. we both opted for peppercorn and you know what, busted out the flavors of our steaks that much more and cooked to absolute perfection by those chef sorcerers in the kitchen. And because of the hit team of Samuel & Adam (the Nashville waiters not the Boston Beer) they provided us with our evening entertainment and were our spiritual guides on our Jeff Ruby's culinary journey and man these guys are good. Ask for them to be your guides when you call in and they will take good care of you. It was this human personal touch that elevates Jeff Ruby's that much more going above the fabulous food & Drink menu. Thank you Jeff Ruby's & Sam & Adam. We will be back. Peace & Love, Randy PMore

Blown away by the quality. Great food. Great service from the bartender, Chad. I had the ribeye and a baked potato. It was phenomenal.

I have had the great good fortune to have dined at The Precinct in Cincinnati, Ruby's downtown Cincinnati, Ruby's in Louisville, and recently at Ruby's in Nashville. The service is always exceptional as are the steaks and other dishes. The servers are incredibly accommodating and...the music is delightful. All my business associates agree that Ruby's is uniformly excellent from entry to exit. Simply the best of its type.More

Everything was perfect. The godfather of suchi was so good I cant stop thinking about it. We sat on the patio, very comfortable despite the cooler weather. Everyone there must have psychic abilities as they anticipated my wife's every need. Bravo. Hard to get 5...stars out of me. But they definitely deserved it. Impressive!More

What a magnificent steakhouse! The bar scene is both fun and chic with wonderful live music and swarms of hot mess glam people out to have fun. We had a wonderful, helpful and knowledgeable waiter. The ribeye was of high quality and cooked just the...way I like it—medium rare. We had a delicious Oregonian pinot noir and more Tennessee whisky than is prudent. This was a fun night out and the steaks were top drawer. We spent $120/person before tip.More

I think you should be fine. Though it is fine dinning, the atmosphere is pretty laid back. We loved it!
