Having experienced a 24hr flight from the UK to Melbourne, and having been picked up by the family early in the morning, we freshened up ... and were, surprisingly, awake. Our relatives, who are locals of Eltham, immediately recommended we come here for late morning coffee / tea / scones! My my ... it didn't disappoint, and hence I'm rather... More

I am generally quite patient but I couldn't wait to get out of here. I was totally fed up with waiting. We stopped for coffee and cake as it looked like a cute place to stop on our way home from Yarra Glen. We waited to be seated and were directed past table after table, all covered in the detritus... My friend and I popped in for lunch. The wood fire was on so it was lovely and cosy. Lunch was great and the lemon tart was beautiful. It was nice to order a pot of tea that has tea leaves and not a tea bag!! Really lovely staff. Most definitely be back again.

Spend 40 mins waiting for someone to take our order, then the same person seated another couple and they got served immediately. At this stage we walked out! Sooner someone else takes over the better.

My wife and I have been here a few times for breakfast on our way through to Yarra Glen races. The ambience is very good and the service is generally good and on our initial visits the food was as good as we have had anywhere in Melbourne, but with the recent new menu the food is now pricey and... Great location and picturesque setting. Food is fresh and ethically sourced.good coffee but bit weak. Had dish called Avacado which was the best.

Walked into the seemingly cute cafe, only to be ignored by all four staff behind the counter. It was 2:50pm so was unsure if they were still serving food (considering we weren't being greeted). After waiting around for about five minutes we asked if they were still serving food to be told to go find a seat as it was... More

A breath of fresh air has blown through this conveniently located restaurant cafe. We enjoyed a great lunch with a really good glass of Yering Station Chardonnay - great friendly service and good value.

My husband took me out as disabled and not left home for ten days. We visited this unique treasure of a restaurant/cafe which was full, warm cosy fire place. Mix lounge chairs, tables and plenty of antiques to enjoy browsing. We just wanted a cuppa, and I asked if they had anything for coeliacs. Yep, they did. I am not... More

The cafe is located enroute to Healesville Sanctuary. With amazing surroundings and its homely ambience, its a great place to stop, relax and energise. The food is amazing. We were a 8 member group and there were no complaints whatsoever. A lot of silence and a lot of eating! The Meat Loaf is my personal recommendation here, however My friends... More
