Perfectly situated overlooking the water.

Took some friends from Melbourne to Wildfish for lunch back in November and had a great meal. This weekend we are heading back there with the family for lunch. Pleased to see Wildfish open again.

Was looking forward to a pleasant Australia day lunch at this lovely location overlooking Port Albert jetty and the bay beyond. The ambience is great, staff were very attentative and pleasant. Unfortunately the main course we chose was their fish and chips. It was in thick greasy batter that "killed" the taste of the fish and the chips were greasy... More

So so glad to see the new owners have made such an improvement to the previous "chef". We ate at Wildfish last year (under the previous chef) the food was not worth the money or our time. Quite bland, frozen seafood and quite disappointing to be honest. Also was well overpriced for what you recieved.. However...my husband and i being... More

Lovely food ,great ( and I mean great !) service. Realistically priced. Which means its sustainable. Overall a memorable experience for the right reasons. We will be back, and want to encourage people to support this local enterprise.

What a difference this new culinary team have made with a menu to please all tastes. A superb choice of Appetisers, Entrees, Main meal, and Sweets. Generous portions, delightfully presented, and quick service by excellent and attentive waiting staff. This was opening night and the restaurant was full, yet the food arrived very quickly whilst we sipped glasses of quality... More

The first time I came to Port Albert we went to wild fish and it was great, sadly it went downhill from there as the menu did not change for several years and the quality deteriorated. I believe it has now closed

We visited Port Albert in search of the oldest licensed Pub in Victoria, a noble quest, with a view to having the famous Fish and Chips. Well our guide books were old but what a great surprise.... what we thought was a humble fish n chippie turned out to be a beautiful seafood restaurant. The surprises didn't end there a... More

I'm local and wildfish used to have a great reputation. I went their recently and it was absolutely awful. I ordered the most expensive thing on the menu which was the seafood soup thing for about 45 dollars and it was bloody disgusting. And it made me sick! Packed with butterfish. My husband got the flake which was twenty odd... More
