Lots of fun

With visiting interstate friends & relatives The Cuckoo is definitely a place to put on your list. The ages of our group were 5 through to 64 and we all had a great time. We went for afternoon tea and I think it definitely offered value for money. It was $25 per adult for a smorgasbord style... read more

If you want to try a bad time warp of 30 years or so go to The Cuckoo The food is a smorgasbord of volume instead of quality Which sadly is not the quality of years gone by Nor is the entertainment which was embarrassing at times At $49 a head for lunch if you have a very large appetite... More

Hadn't been here for about 30 years so thought we'd reminisce and go for a laugh. We were actually very surprised and happy with the night. Usually a smorgasbord is slightly on the average side, but the Cuckoo was excellent. There was some great Weisswurst, pork chops, roasts, Bavarian cakes, and all sorts of other good quality dishes.. There a... More

We went to the cuckoo three days ago and still to this day cannot believe how terrible the food was. We have driven past there for years(since young) and never have been in so decided this day to try it. Well, never again.!! We were there for lunch and the food was disgusting. All of it was cold, dry and... More

Atmosphere feels good, the service is ok. But after going several times it went from great to.... well I'm not going anymore. $50 a person for a sausage, bacon and a spare rib ? because that's what it is... there used to be real german food but, now it's just like everywhere else, chips, fried fish, crumbed chicken. In the... More

Christmas in July at the Cuckoo is a fun time, a gastronomical delight and a great way to share time with your family and friends. We love the unique experience of the Tyrolean / Bavarian atmosphere and the way the staff join in with the entertainment. Very highly recommended.
