While visiting Halls Gap with the family, we stopped by the black panther. For breakfast, my kids had pancakes, my wife had the big breakfast and I had a salmon stack. Kids loved the pancakes; the big breakfast and salmon stack were delicious! The staff were friendly and helpful. Just before we left Halls Gap, the kids were begging to... More

Ordered coffee and cake to enjoy with friends, cake was lovely but coffee cold, when I asked the waiter she said they were no allowed to serve it any hotter as they have some contract with the coffee supplier. To her credit she offered to make another one but we were short on time and had already waited 20 minutes.

We had takeaway pizza. Service was good and beer on tap. Pizza was truly disappointing, the gluten free base was better than regular and not saying much. Toppings ok. Wouldn't go back

First. We sat at the wrong table, then had to move to another table, no one told us in the beginning. No alcohol outside, then husband got charged same price for the beer he paid for and given orangejuice instead. Food basic snitzel over cooked and potatoes as mash lumpisr than the road m husband said . Very disappointing

We popped in for a quick lunch after a terrible experience at the Harvest Cafe. We ordered (what turned out to be a huge plate!) of nachos for only $15 - the salsa was delicious! Would definitely go back.

Came across this place after finding the restaurant in our Motel was booked out. Motel didn't bother to tell us that the Black Panther Cafe existed but after some exploring along the main street, we found it. It was very busy but not so busy that we had to wait too long. We chose to order two takeaway main meals.... More

Visiting halls gap on a long weekend. Waited 40 minutes for breakfast. Kids had theirs, I had mine. Husband still waiting. We understood it was a long weekend and would expect delays. But after my husband watched the third table who ordered after us receive theirs he'd had enough and asked to cancel his and get his money back for... More

We visited on a freezing cold night. There did not seem to be any heating on so we sat shivering. The eating area is quite cramped. Ordered a parma (which I shared with my wife, partly due to the high price of $24) and the kids shared a pizza. Food was quite nice, but on the pricey side. Very friendly... More

Friendly staff, obvious favourite as always busy. Very, very delicious pizza. Lots of variety on menu. Kids meals as well.
