Really enjoyed our meal Saturday night and coffee the next day at Qquigley and Clarke. Restaurant nicely renovated in classic Clunes building in main street with great vibe. Tasty and interesting food plus friendly service. Nice addition to Clunes since our last visit there! We...will be back.More

Good afternoon Anzza ( as mentioned in your log on name). I am so disappointed to read of your experience at my cafe restaurant from just a few days ago. I do not and will not condone any rude or bad behaviour from any staff...More

Lovely cafe with yummy food and reasonable coffee. A gem that you don’t expect to find in a little country town.

Found seating arrangements a little tight. Meal was only average. Probably would not be my choice to dine when next visiting Clunes.

Horrible experience! Drove 45mins to check the place out - was ‘greeted’ by an angry customer storming out and easily the rudest barista I’ve ever encountered. Got in the car and drove straight home. So disappointing!

Great lunch here when we were visiting Clunes. Not a lot I could eat beacause of allergies, so they made me a special lunch. Nothing was a problem. Staff, food, ambience all perfect, plus great to see a special emphasis on local produce.

This quaint and quirky hidden gem restaurant located in the main street of Clunes offers an extensive all day breakfast plus a lunch menu. On a chilly Winter's day it was inviting and lovely and warm inside with a hearty log fire burning. Besides the...meals they offer a selection of cakes, teas and coffee. The restaurant is licensed. The breakfast dishes we ordered were decent sized serves, beautifully presented and ranged in price from $15 to $22. The staff were very friendly and provided us with timely service. On leaving I noted that they also do a fixed price dinner on Monday nights.More

Quigley and Clarke has been my families go to restaurant for years, and I cannot believe it has taken me until now to photograph and review this place! Because seriously, everyone needs to know about this little gem. Nestled away in the small town of...Clunes, roughly a 30 minute drive from Ballarat, this restaurant sits pride and place on a historic street of which has stared in many films including Heath Ledgers Ned Kelly and Mel Gibsons Mad Max. A wood fire crackles away in the corner, a giant antique mirror looks down on the room and the light coming through the old stained glass windows plays on the walls. It’s warm, it’s cosy, it’s eclectic and classy, Quigley and Clarke is Country Victoria at it’s finest, and it’s food, would have to BE Country Victorias finest! Even the service is stellar! Heck, today our waiter very stealthily filled our water glasses for us while we were chatting, and we didn’t even notice! We were all quite perplexed when we noticed our glasses were full and not one of the three of us saw the waiter come or go.More

We thoroughly enjoyed a delicious meal in a warm relaxing setting. Excellent service too. The sour dough and olives entree was my favourite part of the meal.
