No high chair upstairs so me no eat. Was met by bloke who says no high chair so me leave right away with family no questions asked. You be the judge. No chair - no eat

We were lucky enough to find this delightful hotel. Our meals were delicious and beautifully presented with an abundance of gluten free options. The fish arrived wrapped like an old fashioned chip shop. The service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was cozy and the dining room was charming. Surprisingly affordable prices, highly recommend!

The hotel is full of local memorabilia and retains its period feel. Bar was fine but food was a bit disappointing - you can do much better in Beechworth. The overall experience was friendly and pleasant, however. A great place to stop for a drink and a chat.

The Hotel has a great atmosphere and old world charm about it. The new chef is a wiz making a good man sized meal, but tasty too. Recommend the Kookaburra Steak.

A period style hotel with good service and good food at reasonable prices. Catch a band there if you can

Our host at Albertines recommended this restaurant for our first night. The goats cheese gnocchi with lamb ragu was a big hit. The desserts were amazing and the salted caramel on the petit fours plate was to die for. Please either start selling this to take away or online or give me the recipe!

We are Sydney folk and a group of 10 booked for dinner Tuesday night this week. Some time ago my husband and I had previously had a beautiful roast with great vegetables including gourmet miniature turnips. The veg were the highlight if the meal. So I had no hesitation recommending the hotel for a meal with our friends. The dining... More

An excellent meal of local food with a twist in unique setting with view of beechworth's Main Street. Lamb shoulder melted in your mouth, mushroom soup was excellent and home made chocolate malted ice cream was amazing. Great service.
