Sunday night they were busy .. it was cosy & warm nice atmosphere but I have never experienced such a rude group of staff! everything was an issue from asking if we could sit / book into the dining room (which mind you was atleast 1/2 empty) to ordering food but the best was asking if I could have some... Went for dinner with 5 friends, the pub was clearly packed but we were happy to wait. The food was fantastic however the service was the worst I've ever experienced. I have never felt like more of an inconvenience then I did tonight, how disgusting that people would want to dine at your restaurant and spend money at the bar.... More

Pub with board games!!! What a find on a rainy day!! Only problem was that loads of other people had the same idea - so was pretty crowded and noisy. Ate dinner here and the food was great as well.

A lot of pubs that try to take on the theme of an English pub seem to (at least in my opinion) fail immensely, and simply turn out as some poor plastic replica. However this pub isn't one of them. In fact it is a beautiful little pub, both inside and out, with some really friendly staff. Okay, I was... More

The Lord Dudley does not pretend to be anything it is not. Come, have a few pints to soothe your soul. Relax in the bar, it's not noisy but yes it has the original feel of an Olde English Ale house - slightly sticky and pungent of smoke. To the uninitiated, this is your English pub - an extension of... More

Normally a bargain steak night amazes us with quality rump steaks perfectly cooked But standards are slipping Did you change your butcher or your chef this week. Come on guys you are usually a 6 out of 5

As an 'ex' expat living in Sydney many moons ago, I used to practically live in the Lord Dudley of a Sunday afternoon. The pub has a wonderful old school charm, which will make any Brit feel immediately at the home. The restaurant downstairs has a different ambience entirely, perfect for a romantic meal or lunch with friends.

She and I went for after-dinner drinks and nibbles on the night of St Patricks Day, for the first time in over 30 years. Green and black, ie Guinness, balloons. Quite a buzz, and we were told the basement restaurant is well worth a look. For a future visit. Very good for locals, regulars and visitors, whether Irish or not.

Went to the Lord last night and it was a great night (as always). The atmosphere was great with lots of people there. I had a ploughman soft dinner and it was fantastic. It was missing mustard but everything else was great. If there was 1 bit of feedback is that the bar staff missed serving us a couple of... More
