Enjoyed our visit to Gilroys, food good for pub grub. Can be a bit noisy but one should expect that after all it is a pub. Worth going and trying

Once more returned here, just to see if it would be a hat trick, 3 times of having a great steak and was not let down. Couldn't fault the food at all and no doubt, next time in the area, will return.
Have been to Gilroy's a few times whenever I'm staying in St. Leonards. Friendly staff, good range of tap beer and meals are good quality and are reasonably priced.
Friendly staff.Cosy little spot.Has a nice feeling about it . Good selection of standard wines .Have a nice balcony (smokers zone ) But great area..We have had the calamari here.I find it overpriced and would not come here specifically to eat
I think this is the third time we have been to Gilroys, and I must say, cannot fault the steak that they serve. Maybe next time I may try something different, but I guess when you really enjoy something and it is always good, sometimes...More
Was sent there for dinner from my hotel. Good peper steak & salad with a nice crisp pale ale. A couple of guys a bit "loud" & swearing that I hoped the staff would have quietened down but otherwise not a bad pub.
Right next door to the Quest, so very convenient. The beer selection is great and the food is very good and reasonably priced. A great place to eat if you are there on business and don't want to go far. If you are staying at...More
