Ok it's not eye catching from the street but this is a great restaurant for traditional Cypriot and Greek food. And when you walk in the door you immediately get that feeling of being somewhere in Greece from the aromas, and the overall atmosphere including the background music. There were 3 of us and we started with the pita bread... More

I have eaten at the Claypot many times over the last couple of years. It is easy to hear conversations. Con always seems to be jolly and late at night if he is not too busy will play his guitar and sing

Loving Anzac Parade at the moment with lots of great eateries, convenient location and parking. The restaurant comprises 3 dining areas. The least attractive one is located on the shop front. A middle room and a delightful courtyard. The decor is tumble down Greek. Lived in. We had the moussaka which was a cheesy treat; souvalaki, Greek salad and the... More

We went with the banquet menu with dessert, by the time dessert arrived everyone was too full, but managed to make room anyway. The mixed entree was excellent, the mains were served in clay pots and there was several vegetarian options available, can highly recommend the rice in tomatoes. Serenaded by the owner on guitar after dinner. This is a... More

Clearly advised on the sign on the outside of the restaurant is "banquet, including a glass of wine $25 per head". Didn't realise until we had left and headed home we actually paid an extra $12 for the wine! Food ok but the place needs a good clean and spruce up.

Have been wanting to go here for ages, and finally went last Friday night... and will not go back! 2 other couples were in the restaurant when we ordered, and we waited an hour for our food (1x entrée & 2x mains) - in total we were there for almost 2hrs. The dishes were obviously cooked much earlier, and reheated... More

Dirty Dishes and Glases.Thank God the Chef whipped it off with his hand...You get served left overs from the day before heated up in a Microwave. The meat was so burned that after chewing on it it turned it some strange dry flour like substances

I honestly don't know where to start the owner is an absolute pig extremely rude. His white chefs shirt was filthy. We ordered our food 1 HR later half the table got their food & the other half had to wait another 20min. My claypot dish came out cold when I complained I was told sorry but they r very... More

Went with my husband and was delighted with the friendly, welcoming and unpretentious atmosphere as well as the beautiful food paired with good wine. It was raining outside, and the whole pleasant experience at this restaurant made an otherwise normal evening memorable.

My wife, sister in law and I visited the claypot a few months ago. We had such an amazing time. The owner is a genuine host and the food was just fantastic. We sat in the back-yard area and it felt like we were visiting a greek family at their home. This is definitely worth a visit.
