The title says it all. The food is delicious and very aesthetically pleasing. We had the halloumi, pork belly, and chicken. I highly recommend all of them. But remember...you're in Double Bay. The food is very pricey for what it is but you are definitely getting the experience. If you're a local who's probably a millionaire with cash to splurge... More

Hi Jono, Thanks for your feed back. Glad to hear you enjoyed our food. We only use the best produce at pink salt and we make everything from our bread to our sauces/jus on the premises from scratch. We try to be competitive and $29 for our chicken and $33 for our pork belly is about the same as the... More

Having visited this restaurant several times in the past couple of months, I can say that all of the dishes I have tried so far have been fantastic. I tried the pork belly today and really enjoyed that as it wasn't too fatty. I never seem to be able to go past the octopus which is so tender so even... More

We found the food reasonable but the price didn't reflect what you received. Side dishes were extra and we found the wine pricy for an establishment like this, considering nearby reasturants were better value.

A variety on the menu which was tasty and delicious. Something for everyone without being too expensive. Enjoyable experience.

Dined here as a couple on a Saturday evening - sat on one of the outside tables. Service really was first class from the time we arrived and were seated - attentive without being overbearing. The menu allowed for shared plates as starters and it meant tasting amongst us - the bread was something special. We both had the fish... More

My wife new of this Double Bay restaurant. We arrived around 8.30 pm and say on the outside tables . We were greeted by a young man who was a little standoffish. I don't think he could be bothered serving us so a lovely French girl took control of our table . She was attentive and gave us great service... More

Our 3rd year here same helpful cheerful waitress and excellent food. Steaks are a delight as we're ribs and octopus starter. It gets busy and for tables outside best to book. It's good valued and remains one of our best places in Double Bay.

What a lovely surprise. Pink Salt has been in Double Bay for years and this is the first time we've been here. Beautiful octopus starter, magnificent beef cheek and barramundi and outstanding signature dessert. Wine by the glass brilliant. Best meal I've had in Australia for years (and I live here). Staff v attentive and charming. It's a winner. Well... More

Staying in Double Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Double Bay
Located in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, Double Bay is a one of the city's most beautiful harbor neighborhoods. Designer boutiques provide a decadent shopping experience and dress some of the most beautiful people in Sydney. Sit down at one of the open air cafes for a latte or a meal and enjoy the people-watching. Double Bay was once an exclusive enclave for an older, elite population, but new restaurants, late night bars, hotels and cafés are attracting a younger, vibrant mix, making Double Bay the place to be on the harbor.
