Visited with friends for dinner and thought it was great. husband and I had the gyoza, mixed sashimi, Peking duck sushi and dynamite roll. All were delicious. Scallop sashimi was the best we have had. Small range of sakis and plenty of other beverages. Will visit again

My son and I returned from 2 weeks in Japan recently enjoying the sights and of course the food in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. I compared the food to Tokio Fans and whilst in Japan the food was fantastic and surprisingly well priced I still rate Tokio Fans the highest in terms of quality, presentation, taste and service. Yes more... More

Nice location, facing the lake with in & outdoor seating, - quite pretty at night time with all the colourful lights & lake view. We went there as a group & food was served quickly. Presentation was nice , quality of the Sashimi was OK, rolls where unfortunately somewhat bland. They offer a Lunch Set Menu which ranges from $20... More

This has been my favourite Japanese for a long time. Their Peking duck sushi roll is so good, as if their tonkatsu and agedashi tofu. But... My last visit was a let down and obvious things have changed. Portions are smaller. Vegetable sides are not fresh. Staff not attentive. Food not as tasty as before. I would say, now bland.... More

Seated outside overlooking "lake" is very pleasant. Food was also delicious with a wide selection to choose from. Everything from dumplings, rolls, sushi, sashimi, noodles. We had Gyoza (always a favourite), tuna roll, Tonkatsu and a spicy vegetable Udon. Will definitely frequent more often.

Nestled in the heart of the suburb of Bella Vista, Sydney and surrounded by the Norwest Business Park are a number of lakeside restaurants capturing a myriad of cuisines. Tokio Fans caters to the Japanese cuisine. The lakeside view adds to the ambience of the surroundings and this view adds to the pleasant, open atmosphere at both lunch and dinner... More

We have not been the restaurant since Christmas. But this time was unpleasant experience. Beef wasn't cook through. Little half body of cockroach was stick at the bottom of plate.

Have visited many Japanese restaurants and our experience was very good. Quality selection of meals and combinations with very good flavour. Teriyaki box is a favourite as are the tempura selections

Visited as a foursome and found the service and food to be very good. The restaurant is nicely laid out near the water. Especially enjoyed the Sashimi Kingdom which would have to be the Go To dish for a group. Miso was very authentic.
