Food was great. We ordered the paella and some appetizers. The kids menu chicken breast was huge and very reasonable. Best mojitos in town! The live music on Saturdays is awesome. An authentic salsa band, and with people getting up to dance, felt like we were really in Cuba! Will go back!!

Arrived as a party of 10 without reservations. Well presented and great food. A lot of different dishes as you would expect from 10 people, all delicious. Service was very good.

As someone of Cuban origin I am very picky about cuban food, but this place is good. I mean, it will never be Mom's cooking for me being I am biased (Mom are you listening), but I like going there for dinner. I have not been there over the weekend lately, but they usually have live music on Friday and... More

We stopped by El Tropico for lunch and boy were we impressed. All we have to say is try three things: 1) Cuban mojito- perfectly made. A great mix between sweet and tart. Extremely refreshing after a day at the beach! 2) Fried Plaintain with garlic sauce- we love garlic so we loved this light appetizer! 3) Pollo con arroz-... More

While the look of the restaurant reminds one of a cafe, it belies the delicious food. The number of drinks probably exceeds what is listed (given the bar set-up), but we quickly settled in for a mojito and piña colada. We had a nice fresh salad with fried yucca (with cilantro sauce) as appetizers, Pargo Entero Frito (a whole red... More

We stopped in to try the cafe cubano and ham/cheese sandwich. If all cafe cubano is this good I may become a fanatic! It was ground and brewed as we ordered it.We were very happy with the smoothness of the coffee and the sandwich. The server was very nice and attentive.

We ordered out from this restaurant based on the positive reviews we read on tripadvisor. We opted for the Cubano sandwich (ham, sliced pork, Swiss cheese, pickles) which was pretty good, as well as the tostones con mojo with garlic sauce (green plantaines with garlic sauce) and ropa vieja (shredded beef in tomato sauce with peppers and onions with rice),...
