Margarita looked good but was very weak. Guacamole was watered down so won’t recommend that. The tostadas were great. Very fresh and juicy. The oyster were very creamy and fresh too, but the could have been more chilled. I wish they had been served on...ice instead of the ice being a decoration in the middle.More

Wow. I cannot understand these reviews. I will say, the restaurant does a great job of presenting their food and making it look fresh, but my goodness, the quality was awful. Our worst meal in ten days of traveling through Mexico! To start, We ordered...chips and guacamole. They brought us chips that Walter straight from Costco! I told my husband and he didn't believe me, but a moment later, we saw them pull out the bag and refill the chip bowl! In Mexico? Never have I seen this. My husband ordered the fresh catch of the day, which the waiter said was Mahi Mahi. Well when he said "fresh catch" I think he meant "we picked it up from Costco today..." it was awful tasting- so fishy. I ordered a plain pesto pasta (I'm a vegetarian and don't eat fish.) that is hard to mess up. But the noodles were hard and pesto tasted like it was straight from a jar. Wow. So disappointing! Especially for the prices. On the plus side, the servers were pleasant and kind, but please spare yourself from wasting a meal here.More

My wife and I went here during our vacation in San Pancho. The sea food was great. We had the tacos de camarón, tostada de camarón, a couple beers and a margarita. Everything was fresh and tasted very good, and the selection of salsas was...good too. The waitress was pretty friendly and the prices were fair. The food is more on the gourmet side of things but I would recommend this spot to any couple visiting San Pancho.More

Barracuda has numerous good reviews and they have several good dishes to choose. We were hoping to find some nice fresh fish and we were excited to see they had Tuna on the menu. I inquired if the Tuna was fresh and the waiter confirmed...it was fresh. I requested to see the Tuna and the waiter brought out a piece that looked like previously frozen Tuna. I again asked him to confirm fresh and he did despite my “spidy senses” on high alarm the Tuna was not fresh. 4 of 5 of us ordered the Tuna. Immediately upon presentation, i could see the color was screaming frozen and upon first bite we ALL confirmed FROZEN! Nothing angers me more than this BS! Barracuda has good service and a good location along with GREAT live music. I recommend the restaurant for anything except Tuna and I give a one star for their false claim of “Fresh”. P.S. After dinner we went to a favorite restaurant we like for a night cap. The owner that we know very well asked where we had dinner and what we had. I replied “lousy Tuna at Barracuda” and before i could get the words out he replied “FROZEN”!More

Live music. The best margarita in San Pancho for me. Food delicious. I had the guacamole and soft shell crab tacos. Now I crave those tacos.

Firstly, we have been wintering in Mexico for over a decade and spent a few days in San Pancho on a little break from our Mexican home. We also travel extensively, visiting over 30 countries so far. We ordered the shrimp and the tuna tostados...as appetizers to share. The tuna was the better one. but they were both uninspired and a little tasteless. Then we shared the Molcajete. The arachera was ridiculously over cooked, the octopus was rubber and there was no sauce, just a clump of mashed up tomato with cold panela on top. Weird and easily the worst Molcajete we’ve ever ordered, anywhere. But we would have shrugged that off and no bad review would have been written except for what happened next. We were seated on the street near an abandoned Volkswagen. All cool except it was really dark. I had a glass of wine (my only drink of the day) and I accidentally knocked the wine glass over, it hit the candle holder and broke. Not a common occurrence but it has happened to me & my fellow diners. What has NEVER happened before is they charged us 130 pesos for the broken glass. Just snuck it onto the bill hoping I wouldn’t notice. A broken glass is just a business expense anywhere in the world but at this restaurant. I checked with a close Mexican friend who owns several restaurants in the Banderas Bay area. Charging for a broken glass is NEVER done. A crappy meal and ripped off all in one place. We moved on for a drink and dessert at a great place down the street. Eat here at your own peril.More

We went there twice...it was that good! Their catch of the day was mahi mahi...so tender, simply mouthwatering! Delicious tostadas & tacos! So many scrumptious varieties! The octopus entrees are to die for! You have to go to believe how awesome this place is! Impeccable...service!👏👏👏More

We had 2 entrees, neither was very good tasting. The fillet mignon steak was very weirdly cooked, probably microwaved or such because it was ready very fast but had no grill marks or searing from a pan. It did not resemble or taste like normal....The fish was mahi-mahi and it was cooked ok, but everything else on the plate didn't taste good and was covered in a super oily liquid.More

The changes to Barracuda were a nice surprise. The lunch menu features a solid fish taco that is tough to find in San Pancho this year. The shrimp burrito is delicious and filling. They also have one of the better margaritas in town. Others in...my group went for dinner and loved the elevated Mexican seafood menu, especially the cevicheMore
