Visited the venue for a pre-wedding meal the night before. At first glance it appeared a very average pub, but once the food was started my option changed. Great starters, sides and drinks. Meat is prepped in full view and giving to you along with a 320 degree hot stone to cook you own steak with. Outstanding. And all for... More

Midweek and Sunday carvery cannot be beaten at 9.40 for large dinner. Choice of 3 meats, and an unbelievable amount of fresh vegetable selection, all cooked to perfection. Looking around at other people's plates the food from the general menu looked fabulous also. Staff and owners really friendly, these owners deserve to succeed. Child friendly with play equipment in the garden.... More

Fantastic place, the owners & staff are so welcoming, first came across this place on the Steak night which was fab and yet to be repeated. There's always a good choice & generous plate of meat, plenty of potatoes and vegetables, gravy & butter for my potatoes as don't like gravy. The roast potatoes & parsnips are cooked to perfection.... More

It was a last minute decision we decided to go here but so glad we did! Never having a 'hot rocks meal' before it was a new experience and thoroughly enjoyable! Although the restaurant was quiet the service and food was exceptional, on deciding on the sharing starter platter (a must try)! we had the Steak for main course and... More

Highly recommend the Lighthouse Pub restaurant's hot rock steaks which are second to none! They come sealed on a hot rock that you then finish to your liking, with a multitude of accompaniments. Service was great and friendly. All in all a lovely meal!

The steak restaurant serves excellent quality meat, and you cook it to your own liking on a hot stone. Vicky the chef is very friendly and explains how to use the stone, and we had a lovely evening. The pub also serves food downstairs, but I would highly recommend the steakhouse!

We stayed at the Lighthouse Usk & this place had been highly recommended. We had a drink in the bar & then found our way upstairs to the hot rock restaurant. Such a small cosy restaurant with amazing service. The mixed starter was fab & my filet steak was too die for. I like mine still "mooing" and restaurants don't... More

While staying at the West Usk lighthouse for the week end, my husband and me decided to come to the Lighthouse Inn for dinner. The place is quite remote and not the easiest to reach but it was such a good surprise.. The place is managed by 2 siblings, one is tending to the pub downstairs and the other is... More

Description
We are a traditional country pub situated right on the edge of the severn estuary. We serve bar meals downstairs on thursdays, fridays and saturdays along with our popular sunday lunch. We also have a steakhouse restaurant upstairs which opens on a friday and saturday night and serves "steak on a stone" which is a hot volcanic rock that cooks your steak to perfection at your table. This restaurant is strictly adult only because of the hot rock system.
