We are a traditional country pub situated right on the edge of the severn estuary. We serve bar meals downstairs on thursdays, fridays and saturdays along with our popular sunday lunch. We also have a steakhouse restaurant upstairs which opens on a friday and saturday night and serves "steak on a stone" which is a hot volcanic rock that cooks your steak to perfection at your table. This restaurant is strictly adult only because of the hot rock system.

A lovely country pub....

We stayed at the Lighthouse Usk & this place had been highly recommended. We had a drink in the bar & then found our way upstairs to the hot rock restaurant. Such a small cosy restaurant with amazing service. The mixed starter was fab & my filet steak was too die for. I like mine still "mooing" and... read more

While staying at the West Usk lighthouse for the week end, my husband and me decided to come to the Lighthouse Inn for dinner. The place is quite remote and not the easiest to reach but it was such a good surprise.. The place is managed by 2 siblings, one is tending to the pub downstairs and the other is... More

A hidden little gem serving incredible volcanic stone cooked steak with a copious amount of trimmings. The chips are a wonderful treat and the wonderful selection of sauces is a nice touch. The most charming part though is the head chef who is so incredibly passionate about what she does, its totally contagious, impeccable service from start to finish

Had dinner, lots of lovely food made all the better by great friendly service, worth the trip!!! Everyone stuffed, simple fare but the rustic stone made for a delicious meal. The inn also has at least two ghosts (certified) :-D

We went for our wedding anniversary. What can you say, the experience was fabulous. The heated stones meant that we had our meats cooked exactly as we wanted. Presentation of the food was very good as was the service. Very good value for money.

The Lighthouse Inn is a local pub in a very small village in Wales near Newport on the Bristol Channel run by David, Vicky and their mum who is the landlady for the past three years. The customers are friendly as is barman David, the beer is good and modestly priced and the bar food prepared by Mum is standard... More

We came here specifically for the stone cooked steak (found via google) and were not disappointed! Very friendly bar staff as soon as we got there, showed us upstairs to the restaurant area and our table. There are only about 6 or 7 tables and the restaurant is only open on a Friday and Saturday so well worth booking in... More

Tried to find the lighthouse itself but couldn't find it, so parked up here and went on a bit of a walk along the banks, as the estuary tide was out..due to horrible weather, decided to pop in for a drink and noticed they do Sunday lunch.. It was delicious and hot and the gravy is good! Desert was yum... More
