Great fish and chips, sea view (if you can get a seat) if not sit on the beach and enjoy your surroundings. We always visit here when we are in Barry

Queues outside this place got really long so it indicated it would be good. It was. Only had chips but they were good - cheesy chips were fab! Not cheap but we didn't care.

Eat here anytime my kids or I want chips whilst down the island. It's my favourite of all the fish and chip shops nearby. Good price but I do agree with some comments about the attitude of the staff, most of them are teenagers and...More

A very average fish and chips, which I thought was actually expensive for the portion size and quality that I got, especially when compared to some other fantastic fish and chips that I have eaten elsewhere. The service was very rushed and the place looked...More

Hi Byron, Were very sorry that you weren't pleased with your visit. During busy periods our seating area can get quite messy due to our high turn over of customers but we try our hardest to keep ontop of it. In respect to the slush...More

Had fish and chips here recently and it was pretty tasty, prices are reasonable. The staff attitude isn't the best but if you're in and out quickly perhaps you can get over that.

We visit here every time we go to Barry island as in my opinion it is the best! Lots to choose from and they even serve alcohol... It is not the cleanest of places but that's because people go here from the beach so bring...More

Hi. Marcin, I'm very sorry to hear your experience with us wasn't very positive. Our chips are cooked fresh and are served straight out of the fryer, so as to them being cold we do apologise as that is a very rare occurrence. If there...More

We often see the newspaper-wrapped fish and chips lunch in movies as the representative fast food lunch in movies about the UK. On the ground, though, the grease-soaked fish and chips box is the real icon of modern British gastronomy. O'Shea's Cafe has some of...More
