Visited here in late April for a birthday celebration. Food very good with nice canapes offered to us on arrival. My only comment would be that I would have liked a soft unpasteurised cheese to be included in the cheese selection rather that all hard cheeses..Other than that, everything was perfect.

Food was first class. Accomodation was a little dated. Haven't slept under blankets instead of a duvet for many a year. I expect a little more attention for detail at these prices.

Food here is fantastic - never had a bad meal! Went for Christmas a couple of years and lovely atmosphere. Tables were rearranged so you sat in banks of three with I think 10 to 12 on each. Even with all those people sat at one time - you couldn't fault the service and food was hot. Staff are friendly,... More

Brought Mum here as a birthday treat, it was steak night, two steaks plus wine for £32.00 what a bargain. Cooked to a tee and beautifully presented. We were all quite full but just couldn't say no to the desserts on offer, again beautifully presented and very, very tasty. Staff were extremely efficient and good at their jobs, even got... More

We had dinner on a beautiful warm evening. We had drinks on the terrace, then explored the lovely garden after we had ordered our food. The service was warm and friendly and all three courses were beautifully presented. Scallops and chorizo starter, and fillet of pork in a mustard sauce were particularly good, as were the desserts. There is a... More

We ate here for lunch and nothing was too much trouble. We were shown the terrace as it was a warm day. It was the perfect place for lunch. There was plenty of shade and our two dogs were welcome to join us (they were offered a bowl of water and plenty of fuss!) We were overlooking the garden and... More

Following a recommendation we visited for lunch as a group of 6 during the Christmas break. Apart from a hotel resident we were the only ones there for lunch which was surprising as the premises have a lot of period charm and the food was good! The bill with some of us having 3 courses with wine was £190.

We were traveling back from Cheshire through Mid Wales and pulled in here for a coffee and were impressed by the lovely building and eclectic mix of furniture and art works. It was very homely and we were soon made to feel at home by the friendly hostess, so decided to dine. We chose a Welsh lamb dish and a... More

When we have special customers visit the Milebrook is the place to take them. Very good food in good surroundings. Very friendly people who can cope with all the different nationalities we take there. Prices reasonable and menu good. Can recommend it
