This small cafe serves good breakfast dishes and light lunches; my pancakes with maple syrup and bacon were delicious. If the weather is kind there is a seating area outside, but also plenty of seats inside.

Visited twice this week. First time was for a mid morning coffee and cake - good variety of both. We sat inside which has some lovely artwork for sale. Dogs welcome. On the second occasion we sat outside and had a tasty lunch. Very friendly efficient staff. Service very good and flexible on menu options. Good spot to get refreshed... More

We visited The Mill today, after a local friend recommended it. What a find, off the beaten track but very friendly and the food was fresh and tasty. We asked about taking our dog inside and that was not a problem. My wife had soup with a fresh baguette whilst I had the pate and toast. So good we could... More

We stayed in Trefin briefly and visited "The Mill" several times. The staff were very friendly and the scones were the lightest and nicest we have ever had - just delicious

Absolutely adore The Mill, we have eaten here several times before. The place itself is so welcoming and cosy with lovely friendly staff. The food is fabulous using local products, and the vegetarian options are a welcome relief. Also a must to stop at for tea and cake if you are out walking the coast

Had lunch in this friendly little cafe today. My apple and parsnip soup was delicious and my husband enjoyed his pate and toast. With two (good) coffees and a slice of cake, the bill was just over £13, which was excellent value. Dog friendly, too. Just do not believe the waitress' weather forecast! ;-)

James opened the Mill cafe especially for our large Walking Group on a Sunday evening. The menu was extensive, we all thought the food was superb, the venue was warm and welcoming with delightful fresh flowers on the tables. Rosina our waitress and James our chef could not have been more friendly, attentive and professional, wishing to cater for all... More

If you want somewhere warm and welcoming with good coffee and food this is the place to go. We were on a Christmas break and had time to spare before the planned visit to Fishguard for New Year's Eve fireworks and we wanted to catch up with some emails. There is a note on their leaflet saying stay as long... More

This café is on the edge of Trefin which is between Porthgain and Abercastle. The village is rather non descript but the café is completely the reverse. The inside is very clean and tidy and it has a small art gallery attached, sofa's around a warming log fire and staff that are really friendly and helpful. We were staying in... More

Lovely lady let us in early. Wifi was handy. Breakfast was delicious. The Welsh breakfast was unusual but I loved it. There is a gallery of art to look at.
