Had a good meal here at lunchtime after visiting the very close Pembroke castle. Sat on the decking outside with lovely views. Very friendly staff and the meals were reasonably priced and a good portion size. I had one of the specials, but there was plenty to choose from on the main menu. There's free WiFi, but it kicked me... More

After a lovely walk around the castle, we found this quaint pub, located next to the mill pond, with outstanding views of the castle and the wildlife, even though we didn't have any food, quite a few others did, we settled down to a nice drink or two.

A great traditional pub with a friendly landlord and staff, friendly atmosphere with great food and good beer. I would definitely recommend this pub to anyone visiting Pembroke.

This is traditional pub fare at a reasonable price and the service was excellent... Fast and friendly. Don't expect gastro pub, basic food but done pretty well.

We wanted 'fish & chips' and we found the best in Pembroke together with a welcome pint of Guinness. All because we met the land lady whilst out for an afternoon walk! Situated on the mill pond bridge there are excellent views of the nearby castle and abundant waterfowl descending on the adjacent mill pond.

Called in after looking round the castle. Chilli was tasty and a very good portion with rice and chips - great value. Veg lasagne with jacket potato was also delicious and a very filling portion. Friendly service.

Great food and excellent service all washed down with some good wine. This is a friendly bun serving great food the outside area is to die for on a summers day. Loved it!
