Prompt service and lovely surroundings. However, we ordered a 'Spicy Pepperoni Pizza', advertised as 'homemade' and featuring chilli flakes and oregano. It was certainly not home made (it was perfectly round and resembled cheap frozen ones), there were no chilli flakes and the 'oregano' was, strangely, parsley, which is just grim on a pizza. The thing was absolutely loaded with... More

This is an animal friendly restaurant and has 2 separate places to eat, one of which excludes animals but the fact you can have animals inside with flease and dog hairs hanging in the air that can land on your food is not for us.

We thought finding good pub food at 3pm on a Tue afternoon would be difficult, but The Valley fitted the bill perfectly. My braised Welsh beef was delicious, the beef melted in my mouth with the only disappointment being that the wasn't more of it. The veg were very well cooked with that little bit of crunch. The only thing... More

Hadn't been here for a while, our friends said that they had had some good meals so we decided to go. Staff good and friendly, shame a lot of places, including here, don't get their staff to know what soup and specials are on without having to go and check. Starters were ok, soup, black pudding and egg and haggis.... More

The most wonderful carvery I have had in a long while. Everything was perfectly cooked, Bright green broccoli, pink beef and crispy roast potatoes and the pork crackling was to die for!!! Incredible value too. Will definitely be back. Keep up the good work!

Took my grandchildren for an early evening meal about 4pm Friday the 30th December. Not to many people eating at this time just a table of 6 that had finished in the corner, so we were very surprised to wait nearly 40 minutes before our food was served. My chicken fillet burger consisted of a dry old bagel bun with... More

Description
The Valley aims to offer a very warm croeso / welcome and an authentic Anglesey experience. We are ideally located just off Junction 3 of the main A55 North Wales Highway, in the centre of the village, just 3.6 miles from Holyhead Ferry Terminal. In days gone by, the Valley was a traditional coaching house on the historic Holyhead to London route and in the 1800's housed the local Assizes. Nowadays, the high speed dual carriageway makes visiting the Island easy for all visitors and we have invested heavily in the Valley so we can offer customers an enjoyable and affordable experience whether in our stylish lounge bar, Eatery, Menai and Penrhos function rooms, bedrooms or beer garden.
